This is a lovely park in Northern Indiana! The playground, while yes, mostly for the children, but can be fun for adults! The only thing I enjoy is the net in the center, but nonetheless, fun as I am an adult. When I have children, they will experience and visit this park. Then there's the river walk, and the greenery overall, and it is beautiful! I've had prom photos taken at this location, and were pleased with the beauty of this park. This park is also great for dates! Take a significant other here on a stroll, walk, the bridge, it's an amazing experience! I've played music at this park (Unprofessionally) and many had enjoyed what I had to play, which is great! The people, and atmosphere here are amazing. I would be weary of some people here, but they can be avoidable. Please visit this park, whether you're in the area, going on a date, or hanging out with friends, it's...
Read moreParents Beware This park is beautiful in appearance. It has a lot of different things for kids of all ages and a splash pad. There is a beautiful trail to walk or ride your bike around the water and plenty of places to fish. Overall, it is a nice little park when you're just driving by.

Worse yet, no one was doing anything about it. (I did stop the fight, and the boy was able to go home to safety) That being said, I know our kids are at risk pretty much everywhere they go no matter what they are doing but wanted to share my experience for other parents to be aware that this type of behavior is happening, in the middle of a park...
Read moreWe love this park! It's great because it's got things for older and younger kids. The splash pad is a huge draw for my girls, but the are also a few great climbing apparatuses, swings (regular and baby), and some fun playground sets (for lack of a better term). There are four public family bathrooms right in the middle of the action, and quite a few large pavilions to sit and eat in the shade. Take a walk along the river and over the bridge, or sit in the spinning chairs until you can't see straight. There's even permanent outdoor workout equipment for adults. The park feels very safe. We usually see police drive through on golf carts while we're there. It's busy, but with so much to do, it doesn't deter us from...
