I love Popeye’s but the service was bad and the food even worse. Straws handed to us by hand with no wrappers… no gloves used. Ugh! Handling money at the drive thru then handed me our straws. I am supposed to put the straw in my mouth after God knows where it has been, but knowing for sure the workers hands touched the straw where I would be drinking…gross. Very unsanitary, especially during a pandemic. We asked for Cajun Sparkle, it truly is the star of the show!! Sparkle makes everything taste better!!! They handed me salt & pepper. I again asked for Cajun Sparkle and he didn’t know what that was. I request that he ask someone else, then he said they don’t have any in the store. I ordered a gallon of sweet tea, but they couldn’t give it to me. The worst part was that I ordered chicken tenders and they came out looking VERY lightly cooked. I dipped them in BBQ and it had a definite fish texture and didn’t really taste like fish or chicken…. I could not identify what they gave me so we didn’t end up eating anything we ordered. Our faith in the food being safe was 100% gone. After spending over $40 for our family meal and chicken tender meal… we are cold cereal when we got home. Unacceptable doesn’t cover it…it was unsanitary and should not even be open if they can’t make it safe and edible. I will continue to be one of Popeye’s biggest fans, but I won’t eat at this location...
Read moreGood chicken recipe. The chicken is good no matter when I go. Customer service was terrible during the pandemic. I had to call and make a complaint. Not to Popeyes. I knew would go nowhere. I saw improvement afterwards. Since then the employees are more cc considerate about touching my chicken without gloves. When I reported the over crowding in the space near the cashier, from my car window. I got immediate results. It's ridiculous to see lots of employees working in a tight space. I know people jobs. The customer needs to know their food is being handled safely. Don't be afraid to report to the proper authorities, if you see something wrong. We are the consumers. We consume a lot of food good and bad! We pay money for the service food and bad! It's wrong to not speak up! Yes, i told the Popeyes manager, before I left the window my complaint. I want them to try give the best service they can provide and not be negligent or ignorant of what their employees are doing. The employee represents the Popeyes or any establishment. If the employee makes them look bad, it typically leads to loss of revenue. Unless the place is in a locale where nobody cares. The Popeyes I'm posting does seem to care. Go and see for yourself is the food handling safe. Not just go for...
Read moreNew management is a literal nightmare, and are honestly acting pretty evil and greedy.
They are pushing out all of the small businesses that have been staples of the area over the past 30 years by raising their rents by 50%-100%. They intend to put more mainstream corporate stores in the center.
They are paying their maintenance staff significantly less as well as cutting security, making the entire shopping center less safe.
The fire alarm was going off in half of the mall for over 2.5 hours before management decided to make her unsavory appearance, taking absolutely no responsibility for the shopping center she manages. Several of the stores had to cease business and lose money during that time.
Good luck with this business practice new management. That new Starbucks you plan on putting in here is really gonna bring in the money. You'll be laughing your way to the bank about all the people you had to step on to get your solid gold...
