Great experience at Kate’s Kitchen Authentic African Cuisine! I tried the restaurant when it was in South Bend, but they recently moved to Mishawaka, Indiana. New at trying fufu and it was delicious! I didn't know what to expect, but they are providing some lovely and delicious meals here!

The service was good. Although the prices are kind of high, you get a good meal for your buck. The menu was explained well and I appreciate the kindness.

The atmosphere was okay, but again, I haven't been to the new restaurant yet. A touch of African history or small decor would make the restaurant great! Nevertheless, really good African food at Kate’s Kitchen Authentic...

I walked in to order,there were ppl inside at a table. I sat down and waited. After about 5 mins someone came and dropped off the menus. We looked at the menu quickly because we already knew what we wanted. We waited and no one else came to the table. After waiting a while,we just got up and left. I made sure to place the menu down. I made sure to look around and look for an employee so i can place an order. Only people that were there,were talking amongst themselves. So I assumed they were customers. Maybe I had to vocally ask for someone,however the awkwardness was uncomfortable. So we opted to leave. I'm sure the food is great. Next time I'll try and order...

We just had dinner at Kate's Kitchen. I have never eaten this type of food let alone doing so without utensils ( but they were provided if we were uncomfortable eating with our hands). Our server, a lovely woman named Karen brought a basin and a pitcher of warm water to the table and assisted us in washing out hands before our meal. The food was very flavorful and very filling. After our meal I enjoyed a fabulous cup of coffee with Mandazi as dessert. I highly recommend checking out...
