The ice cream is just fine, good enough that I ordered an online gift card to pass along to another customer; however, that is where it ends.
Ordered the gift card, received a confirmation stating the gift would be delivered, and bank card was charged. After two days, the recipient still did not receive the gift card. I contacted two separate locations to attempt to rectify the situation. First, the employees at both locations had zero idea what I was talking about, had no remedy for the problem, and was told at one location that "I only worked here". When I inquired as to whether a manager was available to assist both locations indicated that the manager would be working the following day, that I can call the store; however, they could not "guarantee the manager would take my call." When I inquired whether an email address was available, I was provided with the email and promptly told "they probably will not respond to your email." I was shocked that employees would state this and even more shocked when they were absolutely correct. I sent an email to the owners at the email address provided and requested assistance to: (a) get status of order; and (b) get a refund if gift card was erroneously processed and would be not be received. Never received a response from the owners; therefore, ended up having to contact my bank to dispute the charge and for a credit card reversal.
In today's technological world, I completely understand mishaps; however, what I do not understand is a complete disregard for customer service, a complete disregard for doing the right thing, the employees' complete disregard to be even remotely helpful; and the owner's lack of acknowlegment of the issue. Basically, poor oversight and management.
Based upon this experience, sure....go in for an ice cream cone, but do NOT attempt to use their online service for gift cards (I had no choice as I am out of state). Poor, poor "customer service" or shall I simply state, no...
ย ย ย Read moreI recently went to this place hoping to indulge in some creamy, delightful ice cream. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired, primarily due to their unprofessional customer service.
Upon ordering, I received a serving of ice cream that was far from the creamy, smooth texture one expects from a quality ice cream shop. It was gritty and lacked the rich, velvety consistency that defines a good scoop of ice cream. Disappointed but hopeful for a resolution, I politely brought this to the attention of the staff.
To my surprise and disappointment, the response from the Vanilla Beane team was far from what one would consider professional. They not only failed to acknowledge the quality issue but also refused to entertain the possibility of replacing the subpar ice cream. Their dismissive attitude and unwillingness to address my concern left me feeling both frustrated and unheard as a customer.
In any establishment, especially one that prides itself on serving high-quality ice cream, I believe that professional and attentive customer service is paramount. Unfortunately, my experience at Vanilla Beane fell short in this regard. The disregard for customer satisfaction and refusal to rectify a legitimate concern left a bitter taste in my mouthโquite the opposite of what I had hoped to experience at an ice cream shop.
In conclusion, while Vanilla Beane may have a charming ambiance and an appealing selection of flavors, my visit was marred by unprofessional customer service and an unsatisfactory response to a quality issue. It is my hope that the management of Vanilla Beane takes this feedback seriously and strives to improve their customer service standards to ensure that every visitor leaves with a...
ย ย ย Read moreDuring a recent date night, while parking for dinner across the street, the Vanilla Bean Creamery caught my eyeโa place a coworker had previously recommended. Following dinner, we decided to indulge in a dessert detour, and it turned out to be an excellent decision.
Upon entering the creamery, we were initially overwhelmed by the array of choices displayed on the boardโeach sounding more tempting than the last. However, the patient and friendly servers offered us samples of any flavors we wished to try, which greatly helped in our decision-making process.
In a humorous twist of fate, since our visit was on a Tuesday, I couldn't resist their Taco Tuesday Exclusive: an ice cream taco, cleverly served in a waffle cone "tortilla". I was given the freedom to choose any two flavors for my "taco" filling, and after sampling the Rocky Road, I chose it along with the namesake Vanilla Bean from their selection. The addition of two toppings, while generous, seemed a bit excessive given the richness of the ice cream itself.
My companion opted for a sugar-free option, and they were equally pleased with their choice, attesting to the creamery's ability to cater to a variety of dietary preferences without compromising on taste.
In terms of pricing, we found it fairly reasonable, especially considering the premium quality of the ice cream.
In conclusion, our impromptu visit to Vanilla Bean Creamery was a delightful end to our date night. The creamery's combination of friendly service, affordable prices, and, above all, premium ice cream, makes it a must-visit when you're in the mood for a sweet treat. I would definitely second my coworker's...
