Edit - New Review. Boy oh boy has this place gone downhill. I don’t know who owns it now but their business practices are horrible. I went in one weekday this early fall about an hour before closing and no one in the store but 3 staff with one vacuuming. I was instantly greeted with “Hello! Just so you know our changing rooms are closed.” Oh well then, hello to you too. So I look around and I find a few things and I want to purchase them but I can’t try them on so I ask, what’s the return policy if these items don’t fit? She says “No returns or exchanges. Huh? You won’t let me try them on and I can’t return them if they don’t fit? So she rolls her eyes and does a huge sigh and states FINE! and opens one of the stalls so I can try them on. Well good thing because neither of the items worked and I realized they were like full price but used Maurices jeans. How are you going to sell me $28 dollar used jeans when they sell new for $34?
The experience left a bad taste in my mouth. The service was gross and the clothes are way overpriced like literally 10% less than new. Don’t bother, it’s not as good as it used to be when they first opened.
Previous Review: Alice and crew are amazing. I come here almost every weekend to see the new deals and product. I also sell clothes sometimes. The clothes are clean and well kept. I love the variety and selection and also love...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I scheduled an appointment to sell clothes here. From selling here in the past I know you can also donate clothes that you know they won’t buy. We brought in 3 bags each and checked on our paper to donate what they didn’t buy. I was looking at clothes in some of the racks towards the front while waiting to be told they were done looking at our items. The two women checking out clothes loudly complained about the quality of the clothes we brought in, an example of something said was “Who would think we would sell any of this?” When I obviously made different bags for donations vs selling clothes. Terrible attitude towards someone trying to do a nice thing donating clothes to charity and very degrading to speak about a customer’s items that way in front of them. Just know they’re all judging you if you decided to bring your...
Read moreI went into the store to ask about their clothes purchasing program. The store was very clean and well organized. Immediately I was greeted by both the cashier and the purchaser even though they were both busy at the time. The purchaser explained to me the brands they look for but said I could bring my items in and she would go thru them. I am not young (45 years old) and definitely not fashion smart. The next day I brought my items in. I was greeted warmly by the purchaser who picked out a couple items they could use and then I chose to donate the rest. Their donation thing really impressed me because it helps the public because you get a lot of clothes in your size for $5 and then the money gets donated to a charity so it...
