The Living Room — Attraction in Missoula

Myron, who I think is the owner, was our salesperson. He was very helpful, and seemed legitimately concerned about our choice of couches/fabric/etc. He seemed very intent on making us satisfied. I appreciated this, and decided to purchase. He then kept revisting us as we were checking out with the desk lady as if he felt bad that we had accepted his offered price. I wasn't aware I was supposed to haggle, but the desk lady said, "You should have put up a fight," so I guess we got hosed on the price.

Then it was time to arrange delivery. That's when I found out that it would be two months before the couches would actually be in the store. Yeah, I wasn't expecting that. Not wanting to waste more time driving around Missoula (we live out of town), we said whatever. Well, I finally got a call from the store a week ago saying they were in stock. Yet, no one called back to schedule delivery. I just called them and was treated dismissively by the desk lady who told me they don't make deliveries until they can fill the truck. I suppose I'm just supposed to wait until they have a reason to come out my way.

If you go there, haggle the price down and arrange for your own delivery. Plan 3 months ahead if you can. If you need me, I'll be sitting on my living room floor since I still don't have the couches I paid for...

I had such a great experience at this store. Joe is wonderful to work with. He is thoughtful, patient, and genuinely helpful. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and helped me think through which pieces would best suit my space and needs. If you’re like me and appreciate having someone to talk things through with, you’ll be in good hands. That said, if you prefer to browse on your own, they’ll give you the space to do that, too.

They went above and beyond by storing my purchases far longer than I originally requested, and were incredibly flexible throughout the process. The selection is fantastic with a variety of solid, well-made furniture. If you’re expecting big-box store pricing (like Ashley), just know this isn’t that. The quality is higher, the pieces are more unique, and the team works with you to find something that fits your budget.

I was so disappointed with the furniture that my elderly parents purchased at your store. The most difficult has been the bed frame and headboard. The metal frame was put together incorrectly by your delivery people. The first headboard was ordered in a king size instead of a queen size so they had to wait an extra month for that piece. When it arrived and was installed it was poorly done and didn’t seem to fit the frame at all. There was an 8” space between the top of the mattress and the bottom of the headboard so the pillows fall through. Rather than return it and have another long wait we are cutting the headboard down and fixing this ourselves.
