If I could give this store 0 stars I would. I have never in my life experienced such bad customer service. From the moment I waited in line at the Business Services center, I knew there would be an issue. I was waited on by an employee by the name of Janice. She informed me that Office Depot had a new policy of assisting customers with services. I was fine with this and gave her my cell number as instructed. After, I began to let her know what I needed to get done. I came into the store to get my planner for work binder and that I was requesting the front and back of the planner to be on card stock and the rest bonded as is with a cover page. Janice begin to show me the different card stock pages and I asked if I could get one that didn’t have a gloss. She then slammed the pages on the counter and showed me other card stock that was available. Finally, she started to copy the pages that I requested. While I was waiting she left the counter numerous times and didn’t even inform me that she would come back to assist me after she was helping another customer. After waiting 5 minutes she started to ring up my order. She rudely stated that I will have to come back because there are other customers ahead of me online and I can’t just walk in the store and get service. I told her that I had no clue about the policy and that I would be more than happy to pay what she has done because I was not able to come back in the store. Janice then yelled loudly, that’s because you didn’t read the sign!” As she pointed and tapped at the sign at the counter. I told her I didn’t know because she began to wait on me and that she should have told me in the beginning. After all the yelling from the employee I couldn’t take it anymore. I asked to speak to a manager. I can not lie at this point I was highly upset. I had to wait more than 20 minutes to get my items. Read moreRude customer service at print counter. The lady working the print center was rude to me even though I was kind, especially given the whole situation. I went in for a single page print around noon time with the image file on a USB, but the worker told me they were only accepting online orders (even though I couldn't find anywhere that was posted) and "That's what happens when you wait til the last minuet." Okay, fine, so I asked her if I made an online order how long would take since I was hoping to have it in an hour but I since I had things to do I could just come back later. She just flipped the papers she had for online orders in the air in front of me and said "I don't know I've got all these orders to fill out." I fully understood she was busy but it didn't matter what questions I asked her, she was short with me and rude. Okay, fine she doesn't want to help me so I went home, a bit ticked off, and made the online order, which was a bit confusing to figure out on my own, then I waited. The order said it would be ready BY 6 PM. So at 5:30, when I still hadn't gotten notification it was ready, I went back in. I went up to the counter and was told by another worker it would take 30 min. "Okay, I have nothing to do until this is ready. I'll wait." Walked around the store and bought a few things I needed then I stood near the print counter watching the workers busily help other customers copy and print things. Finally, at 5:58 another lady walked over and asked why I was just waiting there. The worker who had refused to help me earlier in the day explained something to her in a hushed tone. The new employee took my order info after I told her it was supposed to be ready by 6. FOUR MINUETS LATER I walk out of the store with my single print in hand. Read moreAbsolutely TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I go in on a regular basis and use the printing services. Today, I emailed my documents and called the store to give them a heads up. They proceeded to tell me that the one person that could work the printing area went home early. (at least 2 hours early as it was 4pm when I called). I thought I could simply go in and try to print myself. At 5:15pm I arrived at the store and went straight to the printers. The employee standing there seemed to be in a bad mood as every question I asked her seemed to irritate her. The file I had was too large to send in those particular printers. She still stood there with the "oh well" attitude and clearly not wanting to help. I then asked if there was Manager in the store and she replied, "yes, me!" SOOOO.....you're a Manager, I'm holding paper I just purchased in your store, you already have my email as I had sent it earlier, and you can't help me print 11 pages in the full service area??? I asked her that and she said, "If I do that for you, I'll have to do it for everyone else". It was now 5:45pm, they close at 6pm, and there were "maybe" 5 people in the store....not one wanting printing services. She could CARE LESS!! I asked what he name was and she said, "Diana".
