Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Missouri City

Ordered literally two shakes online and pulled into the drive in. no one delivering food out to the drive in. find out after a little less than half an hour of waiting, only to get irritated to find out they were only delivering orders through the drive through (even though they had time to walk in and out of the store to their cars). Got in line at the drive through and waited another half hour for them to tell me that their shake machine was down which I find surprising and frustrating to say the least. if that was the case, why was I allowed to order them in the first place? Anyway I asked for a refund and then the man there told me he couldn't even refund my order. I also watched as a bunch of people before me passing food back and forth with the staff as if all their food was wrong as well. If you want food, don't come here. literally you might as well walk in and ask them what item they feel like making at that moment if you want to eat there. I could not have seen a more unprofessional establishment, with the doors wide open and them sitting in their cars on the clock. I don't understand how businesses like...

Placed an order online at 6:03pm and drove to this location arriving at 6:10. When we arrived, my wife couldn't check in so we had to push the call button and tell them we'd arrived. The order taker said okay and that they'd "add it to stall #1". 15 minutes later we pushed the button to see if our order was on the way and we were told "yes, they're making it now." Another 20 minutes later 6:45, the food was delivered to us. My wife checked the order and told the employee that we were missing a Sonic cheeseburger. 10 minutes later he came back and told us "the cook says it's in the bag." We told him it wasn't in the bag so he went back in. At 6:58 he came back out with another burger and said that it wasn't a Sonic cheeseburger but a quarter pounder and is that okay 😐. I don't like to complain but but there's a reason why there are so many other poor reviews for this location. We won't be coming back here and it makes me sad as I used to come here with friends in highschool and I liked bringing my kids here after karate class but don't waste your time. After having worked at Sonic (not this location) and visiting many others including this location, I can say I think this is my favorite location. The food is warm when delivered, everything on the receipts is correct. The only problems' I have are with the car-hops. I feel like the appearance of the employees could be a little more appropriate. Huge colorful ugly makeup and painted nails were prohibited at the few stored i worked at. And you could put a little more effort into your work, this Sonic gets it done but most of the time they do it on their time which is a bother. I do recommend visiting this store rather than the others in the area for these reasons:

The food isn't as sloppy as most sonic's tend to me. The outside patio is comfortable and shaded along with many many stalls on both sides. The car-hops don't butcher you for tips (you should tip them btw) And the atmosphere is nice. I know some customers can be a real pain in the you know what, but the employees here always seem to treat every customer as if it hasn't happened....
