I love the fact that this is a place where the community can come together and share what we have all made, grown, and harvested to sell and communicate with one another. I loved the variety of fruits and veggies, pickled goods, breads, and other fun stuff... all vendors were awesome, personable, pleasant, and prices are awesome... I only had one problem... the fact that the Democratic party booth advertising some not so tasteful political points in a pretty aggressive and pushy fashion... this one booth kinda pressed some sour points in a community setting where everyone else just wants to have a nice time and not have to be drowned in DNC rhetoric... especially pushing in on kids and certain demographics... Im not dem nor rep, and this booth still was blasting some hateful stuff into the community. Other than this one booth... loved the entire row of vendors, small businesses, individual businesses, and the fantastic people running them helping our community stay alive...
Read moreI absolutely love coming to this market whether its for produce or a quick bite to eat. I can literally rave about everyone that is involved making this farmer's happen. I love the sense of community the market gives me. I love say hi and chat with all the vendors. Rocha farms, family farms, ledemsa, guzman and sons, del farma, jj ramos, tyson Hill their fresh produce reels me in every time i have to support each and every one. Kelly flower farms have the best arrangements of in season flowers. Fresh olive oil and the infused olive oil are just divine. Soaps, jewelry the granola, fresh bread and cookies. Now the food! The pupusas i had for the first time and wow hands down the best. Foxwood market bowls are it for healthy meal. Mini pancakes! Blooming ranch and her baked goods melt in your mouth. (Strawberry scones! And pies) tacos aguas fresca bbq! Dave meats has great monthly deals that i need to start looking into....
Read moreThey are selling fresh produce and other goodies on Thursdays and Fridays by the library. Many organic growers bring in their beautiful fruits and veggies. I always have to pick fresh berries and a variety of greens. Once in a awhile I'll purchase their eggs. I've been told their are pasture raised so if I'm out or low at home I'll grab a dozen. Oh they also have great items at the end of the aisle like flavored hummus, olives and tzatiki. And they have a vendor selling Sciabica olive oils which are so good if you haven't tried them yet. I love the lemon one best but the garlic and the Mediterranean or the basil are also amazing. I haven't had one I do not like. Lol. And their vinegars are amazing. I've been stuck on the peach balsamic lately. I use it with arugula goat cheese and fresh...
