Office Depot — Attraction in Modesto

I went to the printing department and I had to wait a couple of times. The first time after she helped the other women as I’m standing there at the front of the line with no one behind me she just turned and walked away not acknowledging me at all. She went and started talking to another associate. Finally rather waiting to be called forward I approached the counter. Eventually she finally came to me no hello no I’m sorry but she said they are their Internet is down I asked about their other location she said she doesn’t know. I started my order but wanted a specific paper when I came back she was helping someone else after she finished she walked away again and left me standing this time she left the area never addressing my presence or the fact that she started my order and sent me to get paper. When she finally returned she still didn’t address me she walked to another associate and was just standing there watching them work. So instead of being called up I approached the counter when she finally came back to me. In told her the only paper I saw was open and asked did they have more she said that all. I asked for other help not once did she try to see if she could help, look into something or even greet me. She didn’t speak in a rude manner but the customer service just wasn’t...

Pretty disappointing. Got a laptop from here less than a year ago. Something was wrong with it. It started powering off until it eventually wouldn't come back on at all despite no spills or mistreatment. Traded it in for the same model and same thing happened. Got a different model and it was cheaply made. Completely broke in about 3 months. I don't have a history of breaking computers. All my laptops before this lasted the good expected 2 years at least.

Went through 3 laptops in the time-span of less than a year essentially due to malfunctions and poor quality. Insanity.

After the 3 ones went out they basically told us we were screwed this time around. I got a 209 dollar laptop from Walmart and am way happier than with it then the ones I paid over doubled the price for here.

I'm so relieved that I don't have to go through the strain of dealing with Office Depot anymore or needing a laptop but constantly having it break on me.

Generally, visit the location on Oakdale Rd however print project had us all over town looking for a custom print solution. Young lady in the print dept was kind enough to attempt print on foil labels after being blatantly turned down by Fed Ex Printing. Store is larger than other location, layout was awkward w/no visible detail to aisles, and seemed a bit slower than other store. However, fact remains that the service is better and open to problem solving. After several failed attempts at print job, I still appreciated the fact the rep was willing to try and even troubleshoot. I often shop at Office Depot for personal/business needs but after this particular project I am willing to drive the extra 15-20 to Staples in Riverbank for their attention to detail, print knowledge, and great...
