Lorenz Appliance — Attraction in Mokena

I would highly recommend Lorenz Appliance. The whole experience with my many visits to the store to research appliances was positive!! The staff was great but I mainly dealt with Leah who was very friendly, helpful, researched pricing and answered any questions and concerns. I went in to buy a refrigerator and possibly a microwave and ended up purchasing a matching range as well.

I also think I did well on the price. I had priced the refrigerator with ABT Appliance prior to visiting Lorenz and the pricing with Lorenz was better. In addition sales taxes in Will County are lower!

Lastly their delivery young men (Jake, Ryan and I cant remember the 3rd young man’s name) were excellent. Very careful and cautious. Very professional and friendly. Set everything up, checked over the units …connected the Water for the Ice Maker. Also de-installed and hauled away the old Microwave and installed the new microwave. Everything was set up and ready. They also hauled away all the garbage that is in the shipping.

I would highly recommend buying from a local dealer for the great service rather than the big box store....

I highly recommend Lorenz appliances. We’ve purchased 7 appliances over a 14 year period (full kitchen remodel - 4; laundry room-2; and a kitchen replacement -1). The sales people are knowledgeable and always have great suggestions and insights; never any high pressure. The prices are very competitive, as are delivery and installation - I compared to Abt. The inventory includes well regarded brands such as GE as well as high end, designer options. Customer service is very responsive and friendly. Delivery and installation teams are professional: on time, neat, careful, polite. Showroom does not overwhelm with endless choices, making it much easier to consider best options. And the showroom includes “design” spaces for anyone doing a complete remodel or building project. We just purchased a new GE double oven gas range to replace our Bosch. I called last Lorenz appliance last Wednesday to schedule an appointment for service on our new dishwasher. It was purchased in October 2023 and is still under warranty. I was told someone would call me back with an appointment date. To date (day six), no call back. This is the second issue we’ve had with the dishwasher and we had the same experience with our previous service issue. (Note: there was never an issue with a return call when we were in the sales process). We purchased from Lorenz to support them as a small local business, even though their prices were higher than ABT and Costco. I would not recommend Lorenz and will not make any future purchases at Lorenz due to their poor customer service and poor quality...
