I purchase a high end Cafe dishwasher for Zeglin's in Moline. I would normally do my own installation but since I had recent foot surgery I elected to pay for installation. A third party installer that they set me up with charged $190. When the installer left we loaded the dish washer and it cleaned the dishes fine. However when we opened the door the dish washer tilted forward and the rack came flying out. The dish washer was not anchored and the bottom feet did not contact the floor. When I contacted them they said it is a faulty dish washer and it was perfect when they left. I contacted Zeglin's and the sent a tech to make sure the dish washer was not defective and it was in fact a bad install. The tech determined it was a poor installation. Zeglin's said it is not their problem and would have the installer call to set up an appointment to fix the install. Of course that never happened. It has been 3 weeks and I still don't have a stable installed dishwasher. I said give me my money back and I will fix it myself, but they say no to that. Now they say they will come out one more time, Of course with the same idiot but that would be 3 weeks. I am going to fix it myself and call a lawyer. Of course I will never again step foot in Zeglin's because they don't care at all about...
   Read moreWe ordered a fridge and took 2 1\2 hours off of work to have the fridge show up smashed (not just a ding or scratch). I had to contact them 8 days later to see if they even ordered a new fridge and everyone there seemed to have no idea. Took 2 1/2 hours off work for redelivery and they LITERALLY brought the exact smashed fridge back for delivery. The manager was gone and some guy there said sorry for the slight inconvenience. At that point my husband explained this hasn't been a SLIGHT inconvenience since we lost pay for their mistake and the guy had the nerve to say "they were being very inconvenienced by this". Stay away from this place they are beyond rude and apparently are lacking good management if they deliver the same damaged product back.
I will say that the fridge eventually came that night but not until after they were late arriving to begin with, had to take back the previously delivered damaged fridge, go back to their wear house to locate the new fridge and didn't get out of our house until roughly seven pm or shortly after. No one was even remotely apologetic for taking hours...

Most recently, I had a dishwasher repair scheduled and confirmed the day before and no one showed up during the installation window. I called the next day only to find out that they shut down their installation department due to Covid and “other reasons”. That’s fine and completely understandable but I never received a phone call indicating that they were shutting things down and that my scheduled service would not be performed. I missed a half day of work so I could be home during their six hour installation window. Since I’m self employed, that’s a half day’s wages I cannot recoup. I wish I could say this is the first time I’ve had issues with this business and their communication, or lack thereof, but it isn’t. I suggest you look elsewhere for your appliances. It’s unfortunate because I like to buy local and usually you get better service...
