Beast Buffet, L.L.C. — Attraction in Monroe

Nice place BUT.... Bought a toy (GoDog) for our little YorkiePoo, as we have bought many there and always had good luck. This particular toy has a design that was not good and small pieces were making him choke just a few minutes after we gave it to him. We called Beast Buffet right away to make them aware that there was an issue with this toy and the girl told us she would let everyone know right away and pull the toy so there would not be any other incidents. She told us to bring it in and they would replace it with a different design and notify GoDog of the issue. We live 45 minutes away so we told her it would be a few days. We made our way with the toy back to Monroe, walked in and were told that they would not take it back and that we would have to call the manufacturer directly. We were told that they could do it but would rather us take care of it instead. The same toys were still out for sale as well so no one ever followed through. This is an issue for us as we specifically patronize this store instead of buying on-line and thought they really cared about pets. It does not seem to be the case if they are still selling something that they know has caused an issue. We have purchased food, treats, toys and other things for our pets and friends pets here but will no longer purchase or recommend this store. Small shops want you to use them instead of ordering on-line where many times it's less expensive but offer nothing special with the experience. This is probably the reason that people just order and have things delivered. Shame on this place for turning us and the people we have and would have recommended here to other options...

When we got our new puppy we wanted a good quality food for. I stopped in and the owner was so nice and helpful with info on different food options. Even offered to order in another brand of food that they don’t have in store if I wanted. They gave us some samples to try. Our pup loves getting cookie treats when we go in for her food and we always find new toys as well. I would definitely recommend stopping by if your looking for a friendly small town feed store. Staff is very friendly...

Used to love this place and have spent a lot of money here. Seeing the owner's response to the current pandemic has me sick to my stomach and praying that his negligence doesn't get his patrons sick, though I won't be surprised if it does. Roger Vogel, you are disgustingly irresponsible and you personify the reason why my generation usually chooses to leave small-minded towns like Monroe.

Do better. Grow up....
