We went through the drive thru, got the wrong side order. We tried to wave at them to get their attention- and either the gal at the window wasn't paying attention, or was ignoring us. After failing to get her attention, we had to honk. THAT got her attention. We told her how the order got messed up and she gave us major attitude- rolling her eyes, slamming the drive thru window, and generally being extremely rude/unfriendly. Her attitude was almost as if she thought we were the ones in the wrong? Very unpleasant, good thing we aren't regular customers.
Edit, 8/14/2024. I have now had to edit this review to give an even lower score. If I could give 0 or negative stars, I would! We went through the drive thru, their comms weren't working very well so we pulled forward and ordered at the window. My mom asked the person at the window to hand her the dish first for me since the ice cream cone was hers. Instead of just doing that, they set the ice cream down and end up dumping the cone on themselves in an attempt to switch hands. They remake the cone so poorly that it is lopsided and nearly sliding off the cone, mom has to get their attention for another dish before she pulls away because we can't guarantee they won't make it lopsided again because they're so mad at us they did a poor job in the first place when replacing the original over their own mistake. Read moreWhenever my husband or I order from your drive thru, we have to repeat our order MANY times, & it always comes out with something wrong with it. You've spent money to improve your décor inside (which mattered quite little), when you should have spent that money to update your intercom system in the drive thru. That or it's the staff that you're hiring, but considering this happens with several staff members, I'd say it's the lack of properly functioning equipment. On top of this though, is that when I try to call your establishment to complain or get SOME type of compensation for the money you've taken from me for something I didn't order, I'm greeted by a busy signal or it rings until the system hangs up - NO VOICEMAIL.
You've received poor marks all around by me - the food would likely be better if I could get what I ordered, the décor is okay, but a waste of money for what you've gotten thus far, & your service... well I'm sure that would be better if you would properly equip your staff.

I didn't eat it because that is just disgusting. Why would they serve very burnt toast? Just throw it out and make me fresh toast! EDIT: I realized that one experience from however many months ago shouldn't affect how I think about one restaurant that I have loved for so many years. I went inside to eat today with my brother for the first time since everything shut down in 2020 and was met with a feeling of overwhelming happiness. Everyone that works here is so kind and always trying so hard to keep the place looking good and running smoothly. The place has such an incredibly calming vibe, especially when you are eating some of the most delicious food your mouth could ever touch.
