Blooming Basket — Local services in Monroe

First, this is not a florist. It is a flower area in a Piggly Wiggly grocery store that charges high end florist pricing. With few options in the area I did order something to be delivered right across the street. The clerk did not help other to repeat many times that there was a $20 price point minimum for delivery plus a $5 delivery charge. ~$50 later the order was placed.

My issue is the $5 delivery charge. I asked for a time estimate for delivery and was told "When she delivers it". The clerk didn't want my wife's work address, she just wrote "Old Walmart" on the envelope. Sur,e, small town and all that, but really? Monroe Cab charges a flat $3.50 to go anywhere within the city. It would be cheaper to call a cab for the flowers than use this place.

Won't be back. I'll go online before using this...

I have been a customer for many years now, and they never disappoint. Pricing is fair, and the customer service is always excellent. We've been very happy with the quality of the plants and arrangements they sell, too....
