This park is amazing.
It's absolutely perfect for bringing your dogs! I've got two monsters, and we've been frequently this park for our time in Columbia Falls.
There are paved paths, gravel paths, a boardwalk, and a short little wooded track along the river. There are lots of places to sit and enjoy the nature all around. It was a great way to start the day while staying in Columbia Falls, so any days we weren't going to be doing a lot of hiking, we'd start there...

Certain trails go right to the edge of the flathead river. No rails so please watch your kids or they could...
