I've been here a few times and really enjoyed the park space. There are walking paths as well as plenty of benches for relaxing. The park is clean and well maintained, and there is extensive green for lunch in the park, sunbathing, etc. There are lots of cute squirrels and chipmunks, and the park is dog friendly. Its located right near some great cafe's and restaurants. A great place to get some exercise, relax and commune with nature.

I lost my Lab Jack last year. My Berner Albert still misses him as do I. I set up this tribute to Jack at the park this weekend. I've heard people like it, say it's brought joy to them. People have told me that they have added balls to the box. I hope it spreads some joy and inspires people.

Nice local park without much of distinct features besides the plaque honoring Charles Anderson who has donated it to the town for public use. Landscaping and lawns were designed by Olmsted Brothers firm. Perimeter walk takes under 15 mins, easy street side parking on weekend.

This park does not have a playground, but that does not stop it from being one of the best parks to play at in Montclair. The park offers a late field that is compatible for games: football, soccer, field hockey, lacrose, volleyball. The track around the field is idle for running or walking and there are many benches along the path. The park is also directly next to a variety of resturants and shops.
