Another update* New ownership took over and replaced most of the equipment. Finally no more inhaling metal bits from the disintegrated cables⊠Only thing I miss from before is the 24 hour access. Please bring that back. Some power bars would be a great addition too.
I work out here a lot. Overall it's a good gym but has the potential to be much better in my opinion as I'll list below.
Pros- 24 hours, some nice pieces of equipment, two rogue competition benches, a few sets of calibrated plates, nice staff, and nice bright lightning.
Cons- No one seems to ever unload weight (not the gym's fault just lazy members who workout here but really does get annoying), cheap barbells with nonexistent knurling, lack of plates, and dumbbells only go to 100lbs (and I mean lack of plates... lots of the equipment here is plate loaded -- which are nice but just don't have enough weight to go around...), no seated hamstring machine, hardly any clips (I end up just bringing my own), cable stacks don't go too high in weight and always seems to be broken.
Update October 2024 Lowered my review. Gym is even worse now. I ended up quitting. Gym is in desperate need of new equipment, and they take away seemingly okay equipment to replace it with⊠nothingâŠ. Worse cables Iâve ever used, that is if they arent apart on the ground. Itâs a shame because when I went there when they first opened they were a few steps away to one of the best gyms in the area. It seems to have fallen apart rather quickly and then recently sold again so I guess the previous ownership just figured they would take a loss. Itâs a shame as right ownership could turn this great space into something similar to a smaller PWRBLD. Right down the rode is Iron Athlete and the YMCA. Youâll find working...
Read moreUpdate! This gym has gone under completely new ownership and the changes are amazing. Danny Swole and his team have completely redone the gym. New working equipment, new layouts, new floors and so many updates to come. The staff has created a safe and CLEAN place for all lifters no matter their experience to come lift. This isn't just for lifting. Tons of cardio and non weighted exercise equipment. One of my favorite things, I can go up to Danny (owner) and have a 15 minute conversation. Ask whatever you want he's upfront and honest. Provides you with as many updates or advice as you need. You don't get an automated response out of the staff. Everyone is here to help each other including other members. Unfortunately the 24 hours is no longer available however it may come back in the future. Currently it's 5am to 12am M-F and 7-7 Saturday and Sunday. Still plenty of time to get your workout in. This safe haven is never crowded and you'll always have the equipment you want available. Tons of encouragement for members to clean after themselves and rerack weights. Honestly my review will never do it justice. Just come in!
I am still keeping my original review so you can see the night and day difference this place has become
Gym used to be a great gym. Love the 24 hours option. It has a SBD room for power lifters. However over the past 6 months I feel as if every time I enter the gym I have to clean up after everyone. Weights left every where. People not unracking weights. Half the bands are just missing. Cable machines constantly down and if they aren't down. The plastic sleeve over the cable is missing so you can see metal shavings floating in the air after every rep from it grinding. Hope management takes control and makes this a good gym to...

I just want to say that this is one of the first gyms Iâve ever been to where, without even realizing it, DannySwole has created an environment that feels truly accommodating for someone like me who struggles with autism and ADHD.
I have extreme sensitivity to loud noises and bright lights, and I can easily feel overwhelmed or claustrophobic when thereâs too much going on around me. These challenges make it hard to find a place where I can focus and feel comfortable. But the moment I walked into this gym, I felt an incredible sense of relief. The lighting wasnât harsh or overwhelming, and there are areas where the lights are softerâmaking it possible for me to work out without battling anxiety or discomfort.
For the first time in a long time, Iâve been able to enjoy my workouts without constantly having to coach myself through distractions or overstimulation. That one hourâor sometimes an hour and a halfâhas become such a peaceful break for my mind, and that means more to me than I can put into words.
I donât think we have enough environments like this for people who deal with these struggles every day. Many of us donât openly share what we go through, which is why I truly appreciate what Danny has built here, even if he may not realize how profound the impact is. For someone like me, this space makes all the difference.
So, thank you, Danny, for creating such a welcoming and mindful atmosphere. I think everyone should check this gym outâitâs honestly one of favorite gyms.
Everyone needs to...
