What a gem of a tower overlooking mountains so close to town! While the stairs were a little icy, the view was stupendous of the mountains surrounding the area. It was an easy walk along the trail that many people were walking their dogs along and the tower itself was definitely a highlight. I normally hike several hundred feet up a mountain to get a similar view, this is a high-quality view that is accessible by many people.
