I was at that shelter two days ago and honestly I am appalled. I went originally to adopt a mom pitbull terrier mix and her 3 puppies named mariah. Originally i didnt know that she was a rescue only foster dog. But regardless they lied when i asked about her and said she had someone coming to pick her up. Which i found out from a different rescue that she was still at that shelter waiting to be euthanized. As i am writing this i am unsure whether she is now put to sleep with her puppies. I went a different route and chose a different dog to give a home to. Because if i could home a mom and three puppies, i could also home another dog. I adopted a huskie named houndini. When i saw him, he had a lot of shedding fur still on him and he was very visibly dirty. I saw a number of issues sith alot of the dogs there. Unfortunately for myself i could not possibly save all but i would like to make everyone aware. This is not okay. He should have been bathed atleast one time while in their care and was not. When i brought him home it took me hours to brush all the matted fur and bath out all the dirt off his fur. He was so dirty i thought he was just a grey husky. I am including a freshly bathed and cuddly Houdini picture.

The purpose of this review is to raise awareness of the malpractice and irresponsible attitude that caused my cat to die. My cat was perfectly healthy and after a spay appointment she developed an internal infection. In a matter of 5 days total she went in sepsis. Suffering and in pain at the examination table on a follow up appointment . The team of Vets did not take responsibility suggesting other possibilities of her symptoms. A competent honest Vet would have evaluated the situation better and professionally. They offered to attend her only if I paid additional costs. Beware !!! Not a safe clinic for your loved one. No one deserves this.

I adopted Gizmo on Valentine’s Day! My dog needed a friend. I had a good overall experience. They had a special so all I paid was $25 this included vaccines and neutering. I think the shelter has to advertise their holiday specials. I was the only customer. Gizmo was so happy on the drive home. The only bad thing I have to say is durning the meet and greet, staff tried to convince me not to adopt him because he is aggressive and bites. That was far from true he is the sweetest little guy. He saved my other dog Gypsy from his separation anxiety. I no longer come home to chewed up door frames.Gizmo keeps him calm while I’m at work.

Horrible experience. Me and my daughter went there 1/2/25 a cute little Yorkie. Ask three people on their staff how I could obtain the dog and they told me come back tomorrow and be here 15 minutes prior 10 am to adopt the Yorkie.. If other come they would hold a lottery at 10:00 a.m. On the 3rd. I was there at 9:00 in the morning, 9:30 the doors open I was the first one in the building to adopt the dog, a lady behind the desk rudely says that dog isn't available until 10:00 a.m. you can come back here at 9:45, if there's more than one person wanting to adopt the dog they will do a lottery at 10 am Another lady with her daughter came in after me to adopt her before 10 am.They told us to move and we did. It was past 10:00 and a male staff member told us to move outside and 3 other people came stood outside way after after 10:00 am. Finally the staff member comes out with a bag and says here's how it's going to work go you're going to stick your hand in the bag and pull out a number whoever has the highest number. There was no application to see if anybody qualified for it no instruction other than that. We all picked a number and one of the ladies that came late ended up getting the highest number he hands her a clipboard and she gets the dog. My beef with this whole thing is they did not follow their own rules the lottery should have been done at 10:00 a.m. like they said. I was there 15 minutes prior to 10:00 to adopt the dog so was the lady with the little girl everybody else came after. One more thing the picture that posted on the 3rd was not even the Yorkie that was in the cage it was another Yorkie that was already adopted. The Yorkie that I was looking at that had that I took the picture of was 7 years old. The one that was already adopted that had the sweater on was 4 years old. Whoever's running this place needs...

I just recently had a very frustrating experience at Moreno Valley Animal Shelter. I called at 10:30 am to ask questions about a dog that I had seen that was available. The information said updated an hour ago so I wanted to call and check. Its an hour drive for me to reach moreno valley so I didn't want to waste my time. I called and whoever answered the phone was rushing me off. When I asked questions I just got short responses "if theyre on our website theyre available". I even said that I was going to rush over so I hope the pup im looking at is still there. And she just repeated herself. My husband and I literally sped over there got there (12pm). Were the first people to inquire about her and they told me that she's not available until 1:48! And if multiple people are there to see her than its a lottery for fairness. How is that fair?? I signed in on a paper with my name and time I arrived and it didn't even matter? Fairness is for those that come early to see a dog and it goes down the line of people in order of arrival. THATS fair. I waited an hour and a half. Came back 30 mins early. I see another family come in to inquire and received the paper. Then I had to do a lottery. The couple that came in 30 mins after us got to see the dog first! And then the runner up was a lady who literally just walked in 3 minutes prior!! In the end whats meant to be will be, but the was totally done wrong. I should've been asked over the phone what animal I was inquiring about or about the lottery. Nothing! I was rushed off the phone like an annoying fly and basically wasted my time! So frustrating. Others beware of...

Two weeks ago or so, I took an injured cat to this shelter. Once I was handed a form to fill out three females from the stuff came over to where I was standing, one of them said - there is nothing wrong with the cat and since there's nothing wrong we cannot take him in. The cat was laying down but not like the cats would normally lay down on their legs. So I said - really, from this distance you can actually determine that the cat is just fine? Let's get him out the cage so you can see him walk. No, she said. We can't let you do that, it's not even in the right crate. So I said, look that's the only thing I have, I am not in the business to catch stray animals, but let me borrow one of your and I will transfer the cat myself. Then she said I already told you we are not takin him in. I go wow! So you are that smart that you can tell by looking at him from a distance and determine that he is just fine, if you are that smart why are you wasting your time working here, you should be running a corporation or something. So I turned to another worker to ask if they were going along this person, she didn't get to answer because the person who originally decided to not take the cart said, you don't have to say anything, I already told him I'm not taking the cat.

These people didn't have any respect for...
