1912 Center — Attraction in Moscow

This wonderful community center is a gem. The old Moscow High School, built in 1912 is preserved by a local non profit who bought it in 2002. It's progressively been renovated to be a true community center. The great room serves as a rentable space for wedding receptions, memorial services, and dinners for community organizations. It also is the location for the winter market and other events. They have converted rooms to free spaces to gather for reading, games and connecting with others. The friends of the library reading room is cozy and full of books to purchase as fundraising for the library. Other rooms are available for rent and very reasonable prices. The 1912 center is host to all different kinds of activities and events. There is almost always something going on in this historic building. My favorite events here are the monthly drag shows that welcome everyone with love and acceptance and drag bingo. I've also seen many charity events and community get togethers. The 1912 Center in Moscow is a wonderful venue whether you are getting married, just need a wedding reception location or hosting a dance event. I have been to the 1912 Center for a handful of weddings and many social dances. The venue is clean and well kept. There is plenty of space for dancing or dining, both indoor and outdoor.
