Well it was a rainy day, so my daughter has our umbrella. I couldn’t set our stuff on the wet ground, having full hands we went in umbrella open. Now we were right there at the door, my daughter knows to not walk away. She can’t pull the umbrella down because it is hard for her. As I get my hands free now inside I had full intentions of pulling it down before we walked around. Not even a moment the desk person gets snappy and snooty towards my daughter saying to put it down. Now if my child walked away yes say something! But we were right there and to be so snappy about it. I of coarse apologized explaining she doesn’t know how to and to say sorry we didn’t mean to make you mad.
The person after that changed her presentation of how she acted. Yes she knows her stuff, and the store is interesting. They can help you with knowledge of things. But who wants to go I. There when they give off such an impression? I work with babies and worked in retail/cashiering for six years. No way do you need to act in that manner, especially when my daughter needed me and I was working on it. I shop locally and if I need those things I will just hopefully now find it on line. I left almost in tears. Never thought someone had to be so rushed and impolite. I was nervous to go there seeing I’m not an expert at the craft of knitting 🧶 or anything like that.
