My wife, kids and I got tickets to the Rapid City game on 2/8/25. We ended up walking out in the first period and didn't come back. I have played hockey my entire life and my son plays as well. We have been ardent steelheads supporters since 2016. But after the stunt you all pulled on my wife, we weren't about to spend any money in that venue that night. The steelheads have a scam worked out to where they are making women pay for $10 clear bags to put their purses in upon arrival at the gate. They wanted my wife to purchase one of these $10 clear bags for her little clutch purse which is maybe three times the size of my pocket wallet. Please explain the logic of this other than it's yet another scam the steelheads and ICCU are engaged in to make an extra dollar. Remind me, wasn't this also the arena years ago that got busted charging different prices for the same quantity of beer in different "looking" cups as to appear larger? Not that anyone in management who reads this will care, but congratulations, you lost four paying customers for life over your little scam. I will also mention this to all of my co-workers at the large company I work for. Never again will we attend a steelheads game or other event in that diminutive arena. I've played hockey in public rinks larger than that place all over...
Read moreBeautiful arena, BUT, husband was one of the first to purchase tickets the hour they opened online for Brian Regan event and he was able to choose seats. Super excited for front row and on the edge and paid too price. He should’ve taken a photo of the seats from online when he purchased them; ICCU won’t let us print out tickets - have to pick up at will call (maybe bc they know seating is different?) Got to event (am here now), and we are in totally different seats, in the middle on the floor and not on the edge (totally different seating) - people around us. 100% different layout. Others were confused too. People in front of us surprised saying “I didn’t think we picked these seats!” And of course they were happy bc they were now a row closer and they were supposed to be on the side farther back they said. Husband went to talk to them and we really needed aisle seating, so we secured two spots even farther away and not right in front of stage, and more to the side ($10 cheaper too, so we’re out $20 total). Soooooo they need to figure that out bc pretty lame we paid $$$ and didn’t get the seats we picked. But spacious venue and new, so they’ve got that going for them. But still miffed about the...
Read moreWent to a concert in August and was very impressed with the place. Smaller arena, and set up well, so not a bad seat in the place. Plenty of stairways and aisles, so easy to get to your seat. I found it very easy to navigate, whether you're going to the bathroom or...
