The brake cable on my son's scooter broke. He's a student at U of I and I'm 300 miles away. He took it to a local bike shop and they couldn't help him. I finally got to Moscow and on Sunday hauled his scooter into Ace Hardware. Two guys both by the first name of Keith, took his scooter down several rows of the store sizing and experimenting with different parts. Several of these tiny nuts and bolts were very low in value.
