Vista Village — Attraction in Moses Lake

I've only tried the Carne asada street tacos and they're pretty good, but they could be super good.

1: The tortillas are not fried a little, so that leaves the two tortillas a tad soggy and sometimes the tacos fall apart if not eaten right away. I would recommend frying the tortillas, and then adding a dash of salt to the outside of the tortilla that gets all the good stuff.

2: The Carne can be cooked a little longer to give a nice crunch on the outside, but still leave the meat tender and juicy.

3: The Onion and Cilantro topping has too much onion to cilantro ratio and the size of the cut onions can be a bit overbearing at times. I would recommend adding just a dash of lime and salt to the cilantro and onion mix.

4: The use of pinto beans was a nice touch, however when you go to bite into the taco, the flavorless of the pinto beans leaves the bite half tasty and half bland. I would recommend boiling the pinto beans in chicken broth with some Chile powder, instead of boiling them in plain salt water if the beans are homemade.

5: The red salsa and green salsa are okay, I prefer a more smokey/roasted flavor, but they're okay in their own right. I would recommend adding a bit more lime to the green salsa, and adding more spices/salt to the red one as the red one is slightly watered down.

Excited and eager to try the tacos again. I was super hungry when I tried them, so I couldn't take a picture before...

Chico's pizza is some of the best pizza i have ever had. If ur in the area i highly recommend it or if your taken a trip over to the sand dunes stop in n get pizza. Little on the spendy side but well worth it. I would drive the almost 3 1/2 hours to get a pizza. Last time i went i brought back a pizza n it help up to the 95° temps n a 4 hour car ride home in the trunk....

Vista Village is my favorite gas station to shop in Moses Lake. They have the best prices on cigarettes they're usually cheaper priced on gasoline and they have a great selection of snacks and beverages. The staff are amazing and very friendly. Vista has great operating hours and is open seven...
