Por el Arte Artisan Boutique & Makerspace — Attraction in Mount Holly Township

My girls- 7 and 8 went for their last week of summer camp classes. They ran from 9 to 2. At first my one daughter was really hesitant and shy so I was nervous, but she really opened up and loved going. I felt super comfortable with leaving my girls in their care, they answered any questions and really shared their back stories with me. Both my daughters loved it and kept trying to stay later everyday. They made some beautiful things and did several activities including: chalk, beading, jewlery, painting, collage work, looming, just too name a few. The studio space is soooo cute! Their front end has beautiful pieces of jewelry and art for sale. Their building is connected to the new restaurant, the Greatful Gourmet and my kids were both able to order lunch for under $12 and they loved it. Jeanette is a ball of warm, loving energy and my kids warmed up to her quick. Eugenia has beautiful artistic flair and my daughters were able to follow her instructions with fun and sustained interest. There's plenty of parking across the street or in one of the lots. I do wish they had longer hours even if the art portion only happens from 9-2, I would have likely signed them up for more days if it was offered due to my work schedule. They also have classes for adults in the evenings. I think they're still figuring out a schedule and working on their website but signing up online is easy. I'm excited for this shop. I sent my boys to Por El Arte's summer camp and they absolutely loved it. It was the perfect fit for their little creative spirits. Every day, they came home with beautiful completed projects- sketches, paintings, jewelry, etc. Our favorites are the 3 robots that they fully built from scratch. They also loved hanging out with Jeanette and Eugenia, who are SO sweet and kind! I highly recommend this camp. They will definitely be going...

PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE!!

Definitely a hidden gem, in such a quaint part of town. I spent my Sunday here painting with my partner , and conversing with the lovely owners, Jeanette and Eugenia. Her space of creativity is welcoming to all ages, everyone was so sweet.
