I go to this store religiously and have always had amazing service! Store manager Vanessa is so sweet and if I need to find something she will walk me to the area and she always is smiling and is an amazing store manager! Ross, Lisa, Austin and Samantha are just so nice when I go in, I’m a talker and usually can talk for way too long (lol) and they are always polite, kind and very knowledgeable about locations of the items in their store. The store is always clean and aisles are always clear so you can easily navigate the store. Since I live in town, I always go to the Family Dollar for all my basic item needs. You can just feel the positive and friendly environment as soon as you enter the store. You are greeted by everyone, and they all really enjoy their job and it shows in their excellent customer service. So if you have a choice, I personally recommend going in to shop there. Of course these are my opinions about my personal experience with shopping there. So they have made me a loyal customer. Thank you to all the employees for their kindness it really does make my day to go in and get what I need and they treat me as a friend, not just a...
Read moreThis is the worst retail store I've ever been to. The rude cashier has told me many times that she could not take a $20 bill, she kept asking if I have anything smaller. I'm sorry but I'm not your bank. Stop expecting me to provide you with small bills. No one ever is working at the register, there's only ever one employee, today I went in to buy pool toys for my kids and there was a bell at the register that said ring for service. Which is rude and demoralizing in the first place, I rang the bell four times and no one appeared. We just left. This miserable disgusting dirty store with horrible service. If I had ever behave like this when I worked in retail I would have been fired in a day. They did not even have pool noodles in the middle of summer. Would...
Read moreVisited around 6pm on Monday May 3. Young woman who said it was her first day and was visibly nervous rang me out. She had her mask pulled down below her nose. I mentioned it, saying she should pull it up and that people would complain about it. She tugged at it- NOT pulling it up and said most people don't wear one at all. Didn't want to be That Customer but I looked for her manager to gently suggest he might coach her a bit and say she did a good job otherwise. The guy I presume was the manager was bringing in stuff on a hand truck and had no mask at...
