Five Below — Attraction in Mount Laurel Township

Hi welcome to Five below. Said with an inviting smile at 9:02pm.

That is the greeting me and my family received from Kelly as we walked in thirty minutes before closing. She finished with the customer she had and continued to greet and engage with us. As we walked through the store she faced items and continued to man the checkout station.

She thanked us for shopping a section of the store that rarely gets attention, (As you walk in, there is a dollar section to the left as you pass self check out,) to which I replied that I had originally walked right past. My Family has a trip that we are planning on taking and my children were selecting a few more odds and ends to keep them entertained while on this trip. Announcement of 15 minutes till stores closing.

We get to self check out and are trying to decide on what we are purchasing. She greets us and tells us that she can assist us on a specific register. She scans all of our items and interacts with each of our children as she does so. At the end, she asks if we’d like to donate and we do because of her sweet demeanor. Unfortunately, we were in the store longer than we had planned.

When we get to the car and my wife realizes that one of the creams she purchased was open.

I walk back to the door to see if the store was still open and Miss Kelley greeted me and waved me in. I explained what happened and we rush back to where we think it might be and she helps me find it and we check to make sure that one is sealed and I thank her again for how kind she was and wish her a fantastic rest of her night.

If only I could shop at a store where there was always, Miss Kelley there...

HORRIBLE costumer service!! I had took my clients with me to Five below because my one client wanted to purchase an item. The lady was very rude kept on picking on every little thing my clients would do. She even greeted everyone that had walked in to the store but NOT US. Then greets all of the other costumers and say “welcome to five below I'm so sorry about them” like if they were a bother! My clients weren’t doing anything wrong they weren’t touching anything all they were doing was looking around and beside staff. Very unpleased with this staff....

Not impressed. Only a little bit better than a store with "dollar" in it. Nice selection of certain things. The entire store is impulse buys. They tend to charge higher prices on items that sell everywhere else for what they charge that is under $5. I think they do that for items that would cost $6 or $7 at Walmart. If you see an item that retails at another store for $10-15 and it is sold for $5 here, it is junk. Otherwise, it is a great store for candy, soda, chips, earphones, replacement cables for phones, batteries, cheap...
