Had a great time at Mountain Park Aquatic Center during my recent Saturday visit. The facility is clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The indoor lap pool was perfect for swimming, and the outdoor leisure pool—with its slides and lazy river—was a big hit with the kids. The lifeguards were very attentive and friendly, which made us feel safe. One thing to note: they are strict about swimwear rules. A staff member checks swim attire at the entrance, and only after approval are you allowed inside. We had to wait in line for about 5 minutes for this check, so be sure to wear proper swimwear to avoid delays. Also, the outdoor pool became a bit crowded in the afternoon, so arriving early is a good idea if you prefer a quieter experience. However, I did encounter some inconvenience with their payment systems. Although most cards are accepted, American Express (Amex) is not, and there were occasional issues processing other cards as well. The vending machines also repeatedly showed ‘declined’ errors, even when using valid cards. Improving the reliability of their payment systems would make the experience even better. Overall, it’s a fun, family-friendly place to spend a summer day. I’d definitely visit again!

What a nice little place to bring the kids. We paid $29 dollars. We had our two grandsons with us. Adults over 49 get a discount. You're able to bring a cooler. Space is limited. Bring a chair if you don't want to sit on the cement. Or go early to get one of the tables with an umbrellas. This place is for kids under 14, I would say. They have 2 slides. One is a red. It's a dark tunnel that is a bit harder when you go down. The blue is fast. Was fun. Not bad at all. Kids under 5, I don't suggest going on. The kid area has little had 2 kids slides. Like at a park. But in water. The pool area is not deep at all. My grandson loved it. He is 4 There is also the lazy river. It's pushed you around the pool, which is circular. Wasn't too deep. Maybe 3.5 feet. Adults' supervision is a must. Staff was very friendly. Lots of lifeguards there. I give the place 5 stars. Affordable. Clean and friendly.

I’ve been to Stone Mountain Park Aquatic Center since I was a child. Never really been to the outdoor swimming area until now. One of the larger Gwinnett Aquatic with three levels. Entrance is at the third floor. Lockers & showers are at the second floor where the lap pools are. Outdoor pool area with slides and lazy pool are on the bottom floor. There’s plenty of space. It was a very busy time on. Tuesday when I arrived here. Spent about two hours outdoors until 6pm. The indoor lap pool doesn’t close until 9pm. Great area & clean facility.

Horrible place. Swim teachers for adults are very rude and uncaring. Made my daughter bleed and choke on water. All the other classes that aren't adults have a man and a woman, or two women. But my daughter and son get stuck with just a man. It says adults but it's actually 13 and up. He is very full of himself, thinking he has such a high position. My younger son had fun in his class, but my two older kids complained and were talking about cursing the man with voodoo and curses. They really hate this man. And this man seems to be a teenager. My kids are the only "kids" there. The other students were old men. My daughter was very uncomfortable. They were teaching in the five foot side of the pool, but my daughter is 4"9 and my son even smaller. They can't even stand up straight. They literally are on their toes, and even then the can't look straight, they have to look up. They look like drowning kittens. The man didn't even offer to teach class a little bit closer to 4 feet side, or even 4"5. All the students were smaller than five feet. The man seemed to be looking at my daughter in a strange way, and she said she's putting on a shirt next time. My two oldest hate this man very very much. They want this man dead and that's not even the bare minimum. I was putting gas in the way back, and they were talking about Wiccan and voodoo curses. That's the bare minimum. They keep murmuring to each other about this man being killed. They have half hour classes , 4 days a week, for two weeks. As much as I hate this man, I hope my kids don't get to him first. To bad that the staff at the desk were super nice. They deserve to work somewhere better than this...

Nice place, had a great time UNTIL...we left. Got out to my car to see that it had been broken into! (Happened 5/30/2019) SMH. My gun and other items were stolen. Grrrrr!!! They have signs around saying cameras are in use but apparently the thieves didn't care because they broke into seven (7) cars that day on the 30th! They were professionals. Very clean, very neat. No noise. No broken glass. Didn't hear not one car alarm going off the whole time there. Hopefully they did get some footage because that is ridiculous! You would think that being that this is a government facility, there would be some type of law enforcement on the property. But nope! I will NEVER go back here. And if YOU go, leave your valuables at home and/or get some type of water proof case to put it in so you can keep it with you or hide it really good in your car or trunk. Or what else?? Swim with your wallet and/or Key fob in your pocket and risk damaging everything?? Damned if you do, damned if you don't! Not only do you have to worry about thieves outside, you can't sit your things down inside either. I don't know if they have lockers or not but I didn't see any. Sad that my first visit had to end this way. My son and I had a great time otherwise and I'm upset that he had to see that. It's very disheartening to see several victims including myself, have to give statements about what happened in front of your children. SMH. Will NOT be back here! EVER. "F" this place with BOTH middle fingers up! Swim at your own risk. I wouldn't be surprised to turn on the news one day and see someone with their head blown off in their...

People in general, NOT just children need rules and boundaries! It is a healthy choice for humans . These safety standards are for all people , Including the lifeguards . Adults and kids need breaks, to reapply sun protection, bathroom breaks, and of course water and some snacks to refuel, and without the breaks, it would put more lives in danger! This gives everyone an overall safe and fun experience‼️😜 A lot of people do not have access to a private swimming area, so this allows for family friends of all ages to come together and enjoy the day in the sun and shade ! The value for the money at all Gwinnett county water parks is affordable . I am very pleased that they check coolers and for the proper swimwear! There's nothing like going to a public swimming area or private for that matter and next thing you see is a wet inside of a diaper floating around in the pool or Band-Aids, things that can be prevented from being in the water and spreading germs, unnecessarily! It's all a matter of being courteous to one another so everyone can have a day of fun 😜😄😎🌴

My one request is to find a better way to keep the restrooms, especially outdoors , cleaner and less smelling like a zoo full of urine! Odor ban is a fantastic product and of course the Almighty bleach OR vinegar NOT mixed together of...
