Welp! That’s the first and last time i try to use a popular Nail Service Salon I’ve seen on IG. Smh. I was so excited today and then everything went down hill… Honestly I should of just stuck with my local nail shop smh. But I wanted to try something new and help support a new business … and I loved all the content videos they had! It looked fun. All well 🤷🏾♀️ never again.
I didn’t even make it in the chair! Not professional at all and rude when I first got In. I even tried to switch it up by opening up first and making a light joke…. I had to introduce myself and ask the nail tech what her name was and let her know it was my first time… I over heard her say her appointment for 3 didn’t show up…. And I could tell she was upset. But honey don’t miss out on your blessings! You would have had a client for life with me if you would have just gave me a chance…. Not gonna have anyone touch my nails with an attitude or act like I’m the problem because I walked in or if they are having a bad day! That’s not my problem. Always do ya job with a smile and be welcoming not matter what your going through. I’m very disappointed, I was so happy to come and I was...
Read moreAfter following the IG page and seeing all the beautiful work, I had to try them! When I entered, there were two nail artists working. I was not greeted by the individual in the front who was not with a customer. Instead I was greeted by the artist behind them who was actively with a customer. I came in for a French but my artist mentioned they had a style they wanted to try on me; one of the designs including a blooming (method) flower, and some gold art—because I mentioned I love gold and white. The entire time I was trying to trust the process but I should have followed my first mind and just stopped her and walked out. The acrylic was laid on top of my cuticle, the designs were inconsistent, nails weren’t properly shaped or even, she couldn’t get the polish to bloom so some random designs were done. Glue or hard gel was just thrown on top of the polish to create an idea of 3D art. My nails looked like cheap press ons. It took three hours for some lackluster work and I’m truly disappointed. Im giving a 2 because obviously there are artists in there that do amazing work. I just did not get the pleasure of...
Read moreLet me tell you about Iyanla… nobody, and I mean NOBODY has ever slayed my toes the way she consistently does. As someone with autoimmune issues that cause my nails to be brittle and weak, I honestly thought I would just have to live the rest of my life with short raggedy nails and rely on press ons for special occasions. I started going to Iyanla about 6 months ago to see what magic she could work on these feet before I took a trip to Jamaica, and she did not disappoint. I receive compliments often that I have “perfect French toes” and it’s 10000% because of Iyanla and her work. Is the price more than I would have paid at my local nail shop? Yes. Is the quality exponentially better than my local nail shop? Absolutely yes. Her shop is super cute and the setting makes for a pleasant personable experience. The music is always a vibe. She’s got a client...
