I've been going there for a year now. I love the the place til yesterday. I have bought movie tickets to San Andreas and yesterdays weather was really, really bad. Everyone where my husband and I went was flooded cars were stranded in water many Routes were closed like 1&9 everyone we went there was traffic, floods and police. I had called them letting them know that I cannot make it to my scheduled movie time which was 5PM the phone just rang, and rang and sent me to some options I needed to speak to someone life to tell them that for the past hour I'm trying to get to them but, due to the weather it was impossible. I know it said, after a certain time you cannot get a refund or change the movie time but, come on! the weather was really bad out there. So, after attempting for like the 10th time finally someone answered and I told him what was going. I asked him if I could get a refund because it was IMPOSSIBLE for us to make it there because a lot of places were flooded, the guy said,"NO, we could give you another movie time but, not your money back." Mind you this is already 5:15 5:30PM. He said, "That they had a 7:45 movie, that I had enough time to try to make it to get my time changed." at this time I was seen red and told my husband to lets try making it because they are NOT going to give me a refund. Rt 22 was flooded I saw that they had a 6:45PM movie and trying getting there through poodles, accidents etc. I was very disappointed on this theater for not understanding on how bad the roads were attempting to get there not to lose $30. I think when is a blizzard going and storm happening you guys should be more considerate about this. After the movie finished at 9PM or so the weather was still bad, it was still raining hard and a lot streets, routes were still flooded took us 2 hours to get home from a 30 minute ride. Thanks AMC Mountainside 10 for being so understanding when it gets to horrible weather and putting our life's out there to make it to a movie on...

Read moreThis movie theater deserves three stars, but I gave it two because of location, which I'll explain later. The PROS: the largest movie theater I've ever seen, so no problem finding a park, but you'll have a long walk if the theater is busy and you arrive late. They have 10 screens and all are pretty big and they usually have all the trending movies. CONS: The consession stand is poorly managed so there is usually a long line when there's no need, while the workers talk with themselves and are slow. This theater has been around for a while, so the seats are big , plush and a little worn. Now for the location and the reason for two stars. Exiting the parking lot is DANGEROUS!!! Be careful. The theater exits into route 22 east, and there is a bend in the road just before the exits, so you will not see the cars coming. And their mission is to not let you leave the parking lot. So, if you have a new car and want to see how fast you can go from 0 to 50, this is the place. Again, be careful. You can avoid this by going when most folks are at home around matinee hours or late evening shows. Or when there are no popular movies out. Overall , it's a quick place to get to if you're trying to see a movie, but bring a buddy to stand in the consession line while you watch the beginning of the movie, and be careful at the...
