Beach Tacos Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Springfield

two months ago we were in Seaside and wanted to order from beach taco on the boardwalk. Well apparently we pulled up the wrong website and there's another beach taco in Springfield so we inadvertently ordered from the Springfield location when I discovered that literally seconds later I called them immediately and told them to cancel the order that I was in Seaside, New Jersey at their other location and obviously could not pick up my order in Springfield New Jersey. So they said no problem they would give us a credit back. Well, two months later and after a dozen phone calls to them I'm still trying to get my $50 back from them. Apparently they use a third-party for orders online and the third-party has refunded them which they just confirmed today for me and they're still arguing with me that I did get the refund when I did not get the refund. I told him I will prove it. I will show them my checking account where I did not get the credit on that same day, the receipt says that somebody got credited and it was their establishment. The third-party credited them because they're supposed to put the credit back onto me. Maybe they've never had the situation but the manager owner whoever he is Manny has been arguing with me for two months I've added, and I don't have the time to waste on this situation. It's very frustrating and he has no real common sense. Apparently I will never order from these guys again specially online and I would advise you to do the same and their beach taco in Seaside is OK not fantastic. Taco tastic is better than they are. They're located on Fisher Boulevard in toms river and I think they have a boardwalk...

Awful, disgusting, terrible, over-priced. The worst food ive ever eaten. If i could give zero stars I would! My family ordered takeout from this place excited to get mexican food for dinner. When i tell you i am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED i mean it with my whole heart. We ordered birria tacos and unknowingly paid $6 for a single taco!!!! Usually when u get an order of tacos it comes with 3!!! Their tacos were gross and lacked flavor. We had to call them to say we were missing things and give them the benefit of the doubt and chance to explain. Ultimately they were unhelpful trying to justify their shortcomings. We ordered a bowl with rice and steak for our picky eater to include her in our dinner. Im not kiding when i say THE BOWL WAS RATIONS!!! IM FROM AFRICA AND KIDS THERE HAVE MORE TO EAT!!!! There was 5 small pieces of steak and barely a small spoon-full of rice. When we called they said that they didnt add anymore because the bowl comes with other ingredients(that we didnt order) and they put usual amounts of rice and meat for a full bowl. Not only that but they charged us full price for ALL the ingredients when we only got rice and meat. This is a disgraceful establishment and an excuse for a business. THIS IS HIGHWAY ROBBERY! Almost $100 of hard earned money...

I have to say, I read the reviews, and the negative ones regarding the food are unfounded - at least based on what we ordered, which was the Veggie Taco, Fish Taco, Pulled Pork Taco, and Birria taco. I had the Veg and Fish and husband had the Pork and Birria. Both of us raced about the flavor of our tacos. The Veg taco was a little "wet" compromising the taco shell, but absolutely delicious nonetheless. The fish taco (slightly battered) was bursting with ingredients - fish, lettuce, tomatoes, pickled red onions. Scrumptious. Husband said both of his tacos were delicious, but the Birria taco was slightly better and came with a little cup of the Birria broth on the side. Prices per taco were fair ($5-6) each. People complaining about price should just go have fast food tacos (which are still around $3 a piece). These are quality made to order tacos and are priced as such. Nice eating establishment, very clean and airy, they even have garage door windows that open fully for an al fresco dining experience with a covered patio area. Well...
