If it weren't for two nagging issues I have, I would be giving this theater a five star review. The staff is kind and attentive, popcorn is fresh, prices are affordable if a bit escalated, LEATHER seats are cloud-cozy, and the overall design of the theater is to be lauded.
HOWEVER...
Two recent trips to this theater have left me in something of confusion, and maybe even a tidbit of shock. Number one takes place while I was seeing the Friday night showing of Tully at this theater, in auditorium 1. Every five minutes or so the video would oddly glitch for a little less than a split second. Meaning in this case the screen would go black then revert quickly to the film. The audio was not affected by this. I suggest AMC's management to look into this, as it was quite frankly distracting at first (although I inevitably got used to it as the movie progressed). Number two, the 11:10am Sunday showing of Eighth Grade. Something wonky about the center (dialogue) channel. To my ears (I'm an audiophile, so I'm privy to how movie theater surround sound systems work) all of the spoken dialog in the center channel and such not only came through as if it was being played from a Five Below Bluetooth speaker, it had also been playing thru the left front channel. Very strange, and this was auditorium 4 by the way. The good news is that the video glitch issue that plagued Tully's showing was nowhere to be seen throughout this one.
So, like I stated above, great theater on its conventional merits. It just needs some work in the technical / projection...

Didn't think anything of it and no1 told me to throw it away. 5 minutes into the movie the manager of this theater came in YELLING at my mom and I during our Easter date!! We step outside and the guy is going nuts over a $3 cup of coffee even tho we just spent $30 on 2 tickets and popcorn!! No coffee I could buy there and then the guy is just chewing out my mother and me. The coffee's almost gone so I offer to throw it away and he says "no don't, u can finish it because it's Easter." 10 minutes later a mall security guard comes into theater to confiscate the coffee. It was the strangest situation of my life!! I would've gladly tossed the coffee if I was asked but I was never asked and this manager ESCALATED a nothing situation to a crazy a level for no reason! He literally treated my mother and I like we had guns and threatened people! The people in movie theater must have thought my mother and I were criminals going by this INSANE managers reaction to us!! This manager has mental issues for real!! He lost his mind over nothing!! I wouldn't say don't go to movies but be careful because there is a ticking time bomb working there!! He has glasses and a shaved head!! Definitely don't buy a starbucks before the movies because the guy will blow up!! Maybe he was mad that he had to work on Easter or something but this guy...
Read moreSound from the speakers all sounded like it was coming from the very front of the theater instead of in surround like it’s set up to be so it was hard to hear certain parts of the movie. One or two of the speakers seemed to be damaged because there was a loud crackling sound coming through them pretty often which was very distracting. Then, the projector stopped working twice during the movie and the second time it happened, an employee came in to tell us that they didn’t know when it would be back on so we all got up and went back out to the register to try and get refunds. However, they insisted that they couldn’t actually refund us and gave us all a complimentary ticket instead even after several of us tried to just get our money back. I guess that’s better than nothing but on the other hand, I’ve read other reviews here of people saying they couldn’t get their money back when they’ve had an issue with this theater so this seems to be a recurring problem with them. I was here only a little over a year ago to see Dune and it was such an awesome experience so it’s sad to see the way things are being run now. Hope they make some much-needed changes to bring people back but as for me, I won’t be coming back here again and I would strongly recommend you just go to another...
