Nice theatre to watch all kind of movies. We viewed the Black Panther - Wakanda Forever in standard screen recently and the Spider-Man No Way Home 3D earlier. Watched one of the Indian movie RRR. Wonderful experience. Sound system is very nice.
Lot of parking space available and it's free. Entrance doors were not automatic. Need to push/pull the doors. Not much crowd for the Matinee show. Staff were so supportive. Restrooms could've been maintained better but can't complaint much on them.
Seats in theatre are recliner with push buttons. No heated seats but comfortable.
Balck Panther 2022 move, show time was at 3.45 PM but they played at 4.10 PM. Spider-Man in 2021 movie, show time was at 2.30 PM but they played at 3 PM. Seems the delay in playing the show is common for all shows. No one complained but waited for the show. Full of adds for the whole 1/2 hour before playing the show. The RRR movie in 2022 was night show and it was at 7.30 PM and movie started at 7.45 PM
Easy to access the screens as they numbered each screen and the number shown in big size near the door for each screen.
No intermission for any movie which I observed as one odd thing. This is not only here but also other theatres in USA. If one has to go for the restroom in middle of the movie, he/she has to miss the movie. So, either go or no go to restroom is personal choice.
At the main entrance door they've a table to sit. Apart from that no other place to sit except inside the actual movie theatre.
Google Maps showed exact location and took us near the main entrance and parking. The parking directions are on floor. No board signs.
I've AMC stubs premiere and got a reward of free large popcorn & drink for my birthday and it is valid till the end of the month. For large popcorn, the refill is free but they are not refilling with original popcorn. The refilled popcorn was completely with powdered or I can say wastage of the other popcorn. They just mix the waste with good one and refilling it. This is not a good thing, instead they don't need to offer for refill at all. This was my first refill experience...
Read moreI'm going to be honest we were really disappointed. We bought the tickets at the theater along with a drink and Pretzel bites and I got a free large popcorn because my birthday was recently. We were running late so we got our stuff and went to our movie. Well we didn't try the Pretzel bites right away but when we did it was awful. The cheese almost made us throw up. It had a disgusting after taste. Pretzels were pretty bad too but we were hungry so we sucked it up and ate them but didnt touch the cheese. Both just had a nasty after taste. After the movie I politely went to the food counter and explained the situation. I said I didn't want a refund but wanted to give them a heads up that I was concerned maybe they were expired or had freezer burn or weren't cooked all the way because we saw them literally pull it out of the freezer and then cook them and less then maybe five minutes later they were ready. They were warm but who knows if it was fully cooked. We shouldve sent it back then. Regardless they tasted gross. I told the girl at the counter and she was laughing! Then two other employees came up and I think one of them was a manager and I'd look at them and they wouldn't make eye contact or look away and wouldn't talk to me or acknowledge me at all. I didn't even get an apology. A simple I'm sorry that happened we'll look into it would've been nice but nope barely any acknowledgment whatsoever. They need to work on the customer service majorly. I shouldve stuck with the Wyomissing/Berkshire location. The recliners there are better you can actually fit on them and just better customer service. Thats where we usually go the timing of the movie just happened to be better here. Beyond disappointed this theater has gone down hill. I used to come here all the time as a kid and anytime I give it another chance I remember why I don't come to this location. It's typically hit or miss here. Save yourself the time and trouble. Fox Berkshire is AMC now so if you really like AMC I'd recommend going over there or making the drive to Movie Tavern in...
Read moreHonestly really disappointed every time I come here, huge movie lover but they really make it difficult to enjoy. Sometimes the theater I go to doesn’t have the movies I want, and whenever I go here I always have lots of difficulties and issues from the cleanliness to the workers. The last time I went the lobby was completely empty, seeing only 2 workers there. We already bought tickets for the 4 of us going, they asked for proof that we were old enough to see the movie which felt stupid with us clearly having tattoos and piercings. 3 of us had ID’s and only one didn’t but that did not matter at all to them. As said before I go to the theater regularly, probably once a month and I never get asked for ID, even when seeing gory films like Terrifier. Not here though, they even said a picture of our ID on our phone wasn’t sufficient proof! Like what! Are you scanning it! I seriously don’t see how this theater can stay open, after the whole situation they said we couldn’t get our money back in cash or card either!!! But instead get our money in a gift card! Meanwhile, throughout this whole 15 minute or so interaction no one else even showed up. Ended up driving to the other theater with the same people and watched a different movie that was R rated as well with no questions asked. At the other theatre I was treated nicely, with much cleaner lobby and delicious snacks brought to my sway. If your going to the movies, Drive the distance to Berkshire 8 instead of the fairgrounds, cause this isn’t...
