Skaff Furniture Carpet One — Attraction in Mundy Charter Township

DO NOT BELIEVE ANY PROMISES MADE! Worst sucker sale I have been involved with this shady company. Firstly their premier furniture. You know the one with the lifetime warranty! FLEX STEEL! NOT TRUE! Our basis for purchasing two top of the line couches from them was due to our previous couch falling apart within a year made by a not so reputable,but vastly cheaper manufacturer. So on the basis that “hey if that happens you are risk free as the lifetime warranty”. HAH! Within a year and a half one couch far side is peeling away from the frame. Not one but TWO of the couches we purchased had the SAME issue. All good due to the lifetime warranty right!NO! We call Scam up, that’s their name now for me. And I scheduled a repair person to make good on their promises. The day of the visit. This guy shows up and we relay our concerns not yet aware of our foolishness… First thing the guy asks is do you guys still have the tag on the back? Are you serious? The giant 12x8 card that hung on the side with one of those plastic cords everyone cuts off. Next he is looking at one couch and is like oh I can fix this for $15 which wasn’t even a main concern and was only a plastic plate that affixed to the bottom of the underside of the footrest. If that was it I would have paid it for them to be fixed. We are talking about the FRAME here genius. You see two couches in the same shades organized in my living room that are touching the ground on one side? “Well I don’t know what you did with these couches”. We sat in them! Not even very much either! They were in the same spot we received delivery on. After the shady repair guy tried to chalk up what our saleswoman said…oh she had some brain problem huh? Guess what, my wife did two THREE TIMES YOUR EXCUSE with a stroke after we made that purchase so don’t pick this fight bucko! We learned of my wife’s genetic disorder and her brain being peppered with numerous legions so I don’t want to hear about your lying saleswoman. Stop just stop. Have I got your attention Scam? You OWE us, you no good, excuse ridden, scam of a company. We never got that call from anybody after. Not even after called. Do yourself a favor if reading this and go elsewhere. If you really need to buy overpriced furniture not even made in America that they claim. Just because they get fully assembled there lol. Go elsewhere and buy cheaper and you get more I promise you. My husband and I went to Skaff furniture and floor to look for flooring. Talking to the sales rep Derek we both had questions. Derek told us told us the old floor would be removed, and appliances and toilets would be removed and put back when the floor was laid. The installers, Wayne and Mark came in assess the job told us what they were going to do. They immediately got to work and it wasn’t easy. They laid the flooring for the hall, coming off the garage, the long closet, the laundry room, and half a bath. Then the kitchen, which starts as a rectangle by the table, then folds out to a triangle that winds into an L-shaped pantry, not an easy, straightforward project. They also laid floors in 2 bathrooms taking up the toilets, removing the old flooring and with lewon and the baseboard and quarter round. Laying the flooring, so it is under the toilets and that just fitted around them with caulk. They also put a water barrier strip around the bathtub instead of caulk. The job still wasn’t done because a long strip of baseboard in the living room needed to be replace. I could go on and on and say even more but this review is long and I hope others will take the time to read it. Every job was professionally completed. Not a detail left out. I can honestly say, I feel like the floors were laid for a place of business. I couldn’t ask for more professional installers than Wayne and Mark. Sincerely,...

Today (16/1/2020) was the first time I have ever visited Skaff. Sadly, when I drove up there were only 2 handicap parking spots available. There are plenty of other parking options but on a busy day this might prove a challenge for some people. If needed, there were amigos available to ride. Michael was extremely helpful in locating the couch for me. He even helped me with color swatches and recommend ideas. I really liked that! All of the couches were made-to-order and take appropriately 6-8 weeks to receive. The couch 🛋 I looked at was exquisite and so was the price. However, I understood why. The USA 🇺🇸 based company in Georgia warrantied their merchandise for a very long time. There was a wide selection of quality products to look at within the store and this store seemed the most expensive that I visited but they have plenty of other options available. If you want quality, helpful sales professionals and lots of options this is the store for you. The furniture store is large so bring your walking shoes. The personnel was extremely friendly and did not chase you throughout the store like other furniture stores in the states. I’m probably heading there tomorrow to...
