Antique Center — Attraction in Murfreesboro

Nice little (big) store w/a lot of interesting items. It has the showroom style booths with the more quality stuff in the glass lock cases. Employees were helpful and attentive but didn't bother you or follow you nor did they try to push things on you and BS which some other shops do. They only complaint I can think of is some ofthe prices were a bit higher than I would pay and I passed on several things I would have otherwise purchased (I must add that I did not ask if they could go lower on anything and the majority of the booths and cases advertised that they would have discounts on those items, a lot of the discounts were labeled 50% off which was great and thos3 items were quality) If you are a person who loves antique stores and is trying to find one that is worth the time and one where you could likely uncover something nice I would recommend this store. As far as variety and overall prices, compared to other antique stores in town, this is the best one in my opinion. There was plenty to see in both buildings, the staff was very helpful with trying to find a price for me, and it seemed like their vendors had the biggest rotation in inventory from one visit to the next, unlike some other stores nearby where my visits have become stale.

As usual, have a phone ready or know the prices for things you might be looking for. It was obvious that a couple of vendors are banking on you not knowing the going price for things. Ex: a mushroom wall hanging for $115 when the average going price for the many available online $30.

We love shopping in our city Murfreesboro Tennessee. When we go to other cities and go to antique stores if we're talking with people there and mention where we're from they said oh we look go to shop in Murfreesboro Tennessee as well. The Antique Center I was gets brought up in conversation and Shoppers throughout the state tell us all yeah that's the best place to shop. We just came home from a purchasing trip there and happy with the prices and the service. The people there are really friendly the prices are good and what keeps us going back as the selection of things from fine too primitive we can buy everything we're looking for at the Antique Center I'm really happy...
