If you read this, DO NOT order from here on Mondays. And DO NOT order from here on Grubhub. This business did not update their actual open/close hours until a couple weeks ago. This business took my order via Grubhub back on 8/14. I ordered takeout/pickup. Arrived at my scheduled time of 3:30pm. The doors to the establishment were locked, and nobody answered my phone calls. Never would've had this problem if Google and Grubhub platforms were accurately updated by the owner/management to show that the restaurant was closed on Mondays.
I moved on(busy work schedule) and counted this $18.84 expense as a loss. I stopped back by today to bring this issue to management while I could physically see there were customers seated in the establishment. Spoke with a woman from the kitchen who stated the health dept was on the scene. I told her I'd return in an hour. I returned an hour later and spoke with a gentleman who was the on-site manager. I communicated the issue to the manager. The manager then contacted the rightful owner of the establishment, who informed me that I wasn't ever charged for the $18.84 from 8/14. They told me that the $18.84 would've never been charged or taken out since I never physically received the meal I purchased. I checked 3 platforms(banking account app, Grubhub account, and PayPal). All 3 platforms state that the $18.84 had been charged to my account between 8/15 and 8/16 successfully.
The main reason I returned to the establishment was to inform and rectify the situation with the employees on site and hopefully receive the meal I was denied on 8/14. Management declined making the meal even after they recognized that I was wrongfully charged the $18.84 a month prior and did not receive the meal I requested after I already spent the $18.84.
I thought that was tactless of the restaurant and management. How could you acknowledge that you took my money already but fail to provide a paying customer their meal? Needless to say, I won't be back, and I hope others take this review and information to heart. I have since gotten a full refund from Grubhub, so the money isn't the issue here. It's the inefficiency of this particular small business to accommodate customers who had already paid for food and failed to receive said food due to negligence from this restaurant. As a small business owner myself, it's sad how this all played out, but that's life. And life is...
Read moreOur family went in there to eat, it was a bigger group of people. I say 20 and we understand that it takes a while to get food done and prepared but it took them about 2 hours The kids were literally crying and hungry. And when the food came out the proportions were not very big. It's not very organized. I really hate having to give such low rates but this is not somewhere I would go back again or frequent a lot until they can do better with the food to take that long I know it's 20 people but 2 hours and then the food proportions were sad. The food came so late that our party was over about 20 min before the food came out. Some of it party had to leave and seek food elsewhere bc of small kids started to cry after an hour wait. We were charged 12 bucks for this very small piece of meat called a burger under this very dry bacon that was also small. Take notes how big the bun is with this tiny dry burger. Normally we move on and don't complain but today was enough to make us not wanna go back. The price paid for the meals serve, slow service due to understaff, not one person got a refill, 6 to 8 people left after an hour wait and no food still, then the checks were of course not correct. Food all mixed up, things on our ticket we did not eat and the bathroom was literally like a sauna. The entire place including restroom had floors so sticky our feet made noise when we picked up our feet up..it took 45 more minutes just to pay and get our bill. Whole process right under 3 hours. It was a bad experience overall. Too much money for the food served. We sent the burger back I just was not paying 12 for onion rings and a Krystal size overcooked burger and dry bacon. This place can be saved with help. Was not crowded besides our family of 20 or so and the poor waitress alone I understand can't handle it alone. I hope they get some help and knowledge of how much food cost versus what was brought out for customers to accept as...
Read moreJust an hour ago, my family and I ordered $92 worth of food from 615 District. We had four burger meals in that order, and not one burger had Lettuce, tomato, onions, or pickles. We also ordered the 615 sampler that was supposed to have mozzarella sticks but didn't. When we got home and noticed this, we called the restaurant to inform them and never got a clear answer as to why they didn't come with it. The cook was in the background yelling and screaming, being rude and totally disrespectful. He ever got on the phone at one point to argue with me. What kind of customer service is that! The female said her name was NeNe. She said Meka is the supervisor, but she wasn't there to take my call. She would not provide the cook's name. I don't understand what these restaurant owners are thinking about. When you have a good business, the best thing for you to do is make sure your employees are providing their customers with good service. We spend our hard earned money to be treated like dirt. We weren't looking to be refunded, just to let them know. They never offered to rectify the problem. I wouldn't have gone back for food anyway after that cook talked to me that way. I would've been scared that he'd put something in our food. The female laughed as the cook yelled and crowned in the background. We've ordered at this restaurant countless times. And each time, the burgers platters came with lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles. After this horrible experience, we've decided to not dine there anymore. That may not matter or be important to the owner, but it sure does suit us just fine in knowing that we won't be spending our hard earned money in a place that treats its customers that way. Rant over, and now after being treated so badly by the cook, I...
