The reason for this one store is because they associate themselves with a business called Old hickory homes. It’s really a sad story my parents bought three shirts from them to them have been paid off then my mom passed away they were notified. They let someone else switch it over to their name without notifying us then that person stop paying on it and they came yesterday and rebuild it. The really sad thing is that there was a section added onto the big shed when the guys went out there they cut it off with chainsaws and destroyed the section and left behind. It’s incredible that they would destroy somebody’s stuff just to take something. And I don’t see that really humanity.

I've been here plenty of times. And the staff is generally quite rude. But never bothered to really care, or leave a review until today. After purchasing a large buffet cabinet around 4 in the afternoon, we were told we would only have 3 days to pick it up, and that today counted as day one. We were like fine. Whatever. We were not dressed to move such an item, nor were we prepared, but we did so anyways. During this process the front desk staff were extremely rude, and hesitated to answer our questions. And they were general questions, questions like, so when do you typically close. And they treated us like we were idiots, which is fine. I don't care, it's not until we were loading the cabinet by ourselves, and the male employee, stood behind me. And made the statement, "wow, look at her try, must be an accountant" and then proceeded to laugh at me. What does that even mean??? And the whole time we were trying to unload this thing, this guy just stood behind me at an angle sp he could look at me. It was weird and creepy. But a younger employee was working there. Was probably the best employee who's ever worked there, he was kind, attentive, and actually helped us to load this piece of furniture some. And that's probably what this place needs, more young and polite people working. Not these old and rude bags of...

It is clean and neat, just remember it is ALL SALES FINAL. I bought two items, white cabinets. 2 . I paid $150.00 that is alot. PLEASE HAVE THEM OPEN THE BOXES UP! one box was full of dead carpenter ants, fortunately they had not eaten the wood and there was some ant feces stuck to cabinet. The wood was dry and cracking and we had to glue it back together with clamps and all the brackets were rusted! I am not happy. But I guess this is the mentality of Murfreesboro. Make sure they build YOUR home correctly. It would have been cheaper at Lowes or Home Depot. never again. Just go to a big box store quality is better and you return items that are not good. The sign FINAL SALE MEANS IT IS JUNK AND THEY MAKE NO APOLOGIES. Mr. Fuller would be embarrassed to know that they are making profit on junk building items. Oh and I donated Kenwood Car Stereo/Navigation unit worth hundreds! Look to see if that is in your inventory. In the box with all the professional harnesses and modules. Yep that's right. I am a old homeless woman moving into my van because I cannot afford a home. Tennessee is a reckless driving, careless, high crime, highest rate for car accidents and death. Southern hospitality...

2 stars because I am sure they help someone - somewhere, but have a hard time thinking the Rutherford Co chapter is that helpful. There are some conditions to donating at the Rutherford Co chapter that I have not encountered at the other chapters I have dealt with. While I am dismayed at these conditions, I was willing to meet them in order for the cabinets to be donated for a good cause. However, the lady who answers the phone and provides the condtions for donating has a "you called me, I didn't call you" attituded. She portrays a "I am doing you a favor", not the other way around. I donate and reuse whenever I can but never have I encountered such an arrogant and unappreciative person in a charitable organization. I don't ask for favors and I don't need a pat on the back but "thank you for thinking of us" goes a long way. I will have to bite my tongue but still plan on seeing if they will "honor me" by letting me donate my cabinets. Really, Habitat, if your reading this, you need to get someone else to deal with the public - preferably someone who will convey an attitude of "lets all work for the...
