I have had a great experience at Arizona College of Nursing in SLC. The professors are phenomenal and have solid experience with engaging teaching styles, and they truly want their students to succeed. I chose AZCN because it was a BSN program that was accelerated and had a quick start date, and the admissions team made the process seamless. The only downside is the cost, but for me it was the right choice so I could start right away and become a nurse sooner. The content is robust, but I feel that is important to build your knowledge and skills, and you are given all of the tools and support necessary to succeed. You get out of it what you put into it, and if you put in the work you will pass. The clinical load can be heavy, but the number of hands on experiences at a variety of facilities has helped me to learn so much. The faculty and administration are friendly and helpful, when issues have come up they listen to their students. The positive atmosphere among students I attribute to the caliber of people that want to be nurses - they truly care about each other. I'm getting close to graduating and I am so glad I chose...
Read moreAttending AZCN was one of the most transformative experiences of my life. The program not only prepared me clinically but also shaped me into a confident, compassionate, and critical-thinking nurse. The instructors were deeply knowledgeable and genuinely invested in our success. They balanced high expectations with real support, making sure we understood the “why” behind the skills and not just the “how.” Their passion for nursing inspired me daily. Clinical rotations were well-organized and offered a variety of real-world settings that exposed us to med-surg, psych, peds, OB, and critical care (shout out Kristen!). These hands-on experiences made all the difference and helped me feel prepared stepping into my first RN role. The program was rigorous — as nursing school should be — but I never felt alone. Whether it was through faculty office hours, lab practice sessions, or the tight-knit community among students, there was always support when I needed it. If you’re looking for a nursing program that challenges you, supports you, and truly prepares you for the realities of healthcare, I highly...
Read moreAvoid at all costs! Especially if Candice enrolled you she is a liar. There are so many better options around don’t waste $100,0000 on this school it seems great until you are in your 3rd semester then all of the help completely stops. They may have better campus in the U.S. BUT beware I know many people who regret starting here, I recently interviewed with another admissions office at Joyce university and it was a million times better, the advisors let me speak with students and I thought it was so cool. I can’t tell anyone what to do but if I could I would say….do NOT let the nice look of the school fool you, behind the scenes they use nclex rates based off less then 100 students who have ever graduated, they also have a nice presentation but I LOOK UP THE FACTS, and go to good schools and see the # of graduates. Sketchy, I would never attend this school. The employees lie, the enrolment manager is the worst and has no ethics or morals. Hope this helps...
