A Sweet (and Slightly Sinister) Treat of an Escape! 🍭🪄

Literally, from the moment we stepped out of the car, Benny and Hannah had us completely spellbound — and that’s before we even entered the witch’s lair! Dressed perfectly in character, they whisked us straight into the world of Hansel and Gretel, complete with yummy scents and adorable props. The room itself was an absolute gingerbread masterpiece — deliciously detailed, delightfully tricky, and sprinkled with just the right amount of mischief. Every puzzle fit the story like a gumdrop on a candy roof, and the immersive touches kept us grinning (and maybe a little nervous about becoming the witch’s next snack). My sister and I are an escape room duo (Escape Velocity N²) and we’ve played a lot of rooms — and we can honestly say this Hansel and Gretel experience by a fellow sister team (Benny and Hannah) completely stole our hearts (and almost our freedom 😅). They clearly put their passion for puzzles, creative storytelling and a dash of magic into every part of the experience. Fell into the forest, dodged a witch, and barely made it out alive 😅

My husband and I did the Hansel and Gretel escape room for a date night and had so much fun solving the puzzles that we brought our kids back to try it too. It felt like stepping into another world 🌲

There were so many puzzles that even with a big group, everyone had something to do. Watching the kids figure things out was the best part, and they were ready to get “trapped” again five minutes after escaping.

I highly recommend More Than Mysteries! I was really impressed with how advanced and well-designed the Hansel & Gretel escape room was. It’s clear a lot of thought and skill went into every detail. Enjoyable for first timers or long-time escape room fans!
