Not happy with how I was treated at this location today. I had just been in there over the weekend to pick out a new pair of leggings. One of the associates had asked me what they were for & I said to replace a pair that got a hole in them. She quickly said to just bring those in because they would swap them out for me. I asked how new they have to be and she said it didn’t matter. I called to verify a second time today before coming in just to be sure. The associate said they can’t be 10 years old but to bring them in and they would take a look at them for me. I had a total of 3 pairs that I purchased within a couple years. When I brought them in today it was a completely different story. The associate said they don’t have a guarantee the minute I started to explain my situation. She stated they weren’t showing up in my profile & she didn’t even bother looking at them. I even explained to her what the other store associates said to me and she made me feel dumb for even bringing them in. If she would have just apologized for the misinformation and explained to me what their policy is, I would completely respect that and move on. For such a high end brand I would expect better customer service and that’s not what my experience was...
Read moreUpdate a year later: I changed my review from 5 to 2 stars. My new leggings tore and piled horribly again, and I took them in. This time I was told that only if it was a manufacture error would it be covered under their “Quality Promise.” I understand that things happen and Lulu can’t just take back leggings that have wear. I guess I’m just disappointed that I took care of these leggings and they tore, the pockets came undone, and the bum fabric became very see through and developed holes. These were $128? Why? The one employee was kind but the rest are not. It’s definitely a “too cool” environment and that’s annoying. You work at the mall. Please be kind to people.
Old review:
I purchased a pair of leggings a few months ago. I noticed a hole in the knee and they were starting to pile, I was feeling really discouraged because I love Lulu products. I brought them in and the sweet girl helped me find the pair that I had originally wanted to buy (wasn’t in love with the leggings I had bought this time) and swapped my pair for the new ones! I am so grateful. She made me feel like my concerns were important and was so kind. Thank you girl - wish I...
Read moreI am an avid fan of lululemon and their online customer service is incredible. Can’t say the same about my experience at fashionplace. For a company that makes millions of dollars a year, I shouldn’t be hassled on WHY I’m returning items. I spent $400, with $100 of it being from a lulu gift card. I went to fashionplace to return one item (~$58) worth and after giving me a hard time for returning it in the first place (it was in perfect condition with tags and a receipt) they said they would have to just give me store credit. They were rude and short with me and wouldn’t explain why that was the case or why they couldn’t even split it a percentage of gift card and money back (which I would have been understanding about). So, I changed my mind, processed the return online and, what do you know, online customer service refunded 100% of the returned items to my credit card. Please retrain your employees on working with the customers who...
