1 star for customer service and doordash integration. This is coming from a consistently ranked Top Dasher with over 2,000 deliveries under their belt. I picked up from this location for the first time. There were zero instructions for pickup in the app. There were no signs around or in the restaurant for where the food could be picked up. It's two days after Christmas and the parking lot was full. I went up and down two very long aisles and saw no options for delivery drivers anywhere. The order I was picking up consisted of a single slice of cheesecake, nothing else, and the Dasher app's estimated time for pickup was in a couple minutes. I decided to take a chance and park in curbside pickup, because by all means this shouldn't take longer than running in and out and just walking from the nearest parking spot would make me late. As a Dasher I have to take small risks with parking all the time, such as at apartments that have strictly permit-only parking or late at night in HOA communities that don't allow street parking. It's a necessary part of the job and it's never been problematic. However, it rarely happens at restaurants, probably at least partly because most stores that do doordash recognize and respect that we're also just trying to make a living and get people their food as quickly as possible. Many have To-Go parking that Dashers are also welcome to use. If this Cheesecake Factory had that, either I did not see it while driving around the parking lot or it was full and stayed full and thus I didn't check those signs too closely. After still searching and double checking the app and seeing no pickup instructions and no employees, I walked around to the front and asked an employee about doordash pickup. He told me there was a red umbrella outside by curbside pickup. I had seen no red umbrella, but I went back out. An employee was outside and she asked me if I was DoorDash and that was my car parked in curbside pickup. At this point the single slice of cheesecake should have been ready to be picked up. She told me I had to go park my car elsewhere and then I could pick up the food. The parking lot and restaurant were full, but there was only one other car waiting at curbside pickup. By the time I walked back from a parking spot it was gone. Sure enough, I found a dark red patio umbrella, tucked out of sight and unmarked, only with a small light attached to the umbrella stand. It was approximately 35°F outside. I had to wait a minute for the same lady to come out and hand me the order I'd come for. The fact that she came out with that exact order shows how slow DoorDash was at this point; I hadn't already told her who I was picking up for. I am very much willing to bet that single slice of cheesecake was already ready and she knew that's what I was there for when she told me I needed to move my car first, making me late for pickup. I am very displeased with this treatment and ease of pick-up...
Read moreUpdate 10/15/2024: Today, I placed an online order for curbside pickup for a single slice of cheesecake. I placed the order at 11 am. The first option was for ASAP (15-25 min). I chose that option. I arrived and checked in at a curbside pickup space about 11:25 am. Others cars came and went, and all appeared to be customers parked in curbside spaces who went to the side door and came back with their orders. None of those were employees delivering curbside orders. When I had been there about 20 minutes, another car pulled in to wait. After 35 minutes, I called the phone number on the curbside sign. (I had checked in online.) The call connected, but there was no greeting or response to my hellos, and then it was disconnected. About this time, the car near me drove to the actual restaurant adjacent curb, and the driver went to the side door. I called again, and it rang until it was disconnected after a few rings. The other driver got back in their car, circled around, and returned to their curbside order space to wait. While calling a third time, a team member brought my order to my car and politely gave it to me with no mention of or apology for the extended wait. Fortunately, my schedule was flexible. However, 40-45 minutes wait time after the amount given for order preparation and arrival time is beyond disappointing and wasteful of my time. Plus, in that car near me, the driver appeared to be dressed for their job and could have used an entire meal break without receiving their order. Strong suggestions: adjust your online pickup times/ intervals if you can't prepare orders by promised times, answer your phone, and staff for curbside delivery when you offer it. My order was accurate, but by the time I received it, I had to drive right away without a break to eat it while it was cold. The cheesecake was squishy, and the whipped cream deflated. The actual product experience would have been better (I hope) if it had been delivered by 11:30 am. instead of well after 12 pm. ----‐-------------------------------------- The Cheesecake Factory is always hopping when I've driven by or stopped. We got desserts to go on this visit. Despite the crowd, my takeout order was handled promptly with a smile. I only waited a few minutes for it to be prepped. The server asked if we wanted forks, which we appreciated since we would be eating away from home.
We ordered White Chocolate Raspberry cheesecake and Chocolate Mousse cheesecake.
The chocolate was the better tasting. The raspberry wasn't anything special. It tasted like the typical, frozen type any restaurant could get from Sysco.
Unlike in past years, the slices are small and leave plenty of extra room in the custom container that used to be filled with a generous slice in length, width, and height. When we treat ourselves to Cheesecake Factory, we expect an extra special, signature style dessert we can only get there. Sadly, that is no...
Read more3/10/25 me and my wife decided to go in today the cheesecake factory as we do every week for date night we decide to do our date night a little earlier came in there, but it wasn’t busy sat down ordered our food. I ordered an omelette Our waitress was amazing but the quality of food was not the food that I ordered. They messed up on. They had to send it back House the waitress was taking my order back instead of taking my food all the way back to the kitchen to fix the problem. She set it down on the counter right next to me where they do their computer stuff left it there for a moment as customers passed back-and-forth next to my food very sanitized unhealthy foods can have many things happen to it never had this problem before so he finally brought my food back. It was the same plate. All they did was fix some of the problems on it not good. Talk to the manager. She took the meal off. Usually all other managers will come with a cheesecake for the inconvenience well, Shelley didn’t she was the manager she’s not a nice person for all the years I’ve been going there. I’ve never had the worst service from a manager. Shelley shouldn’t even be a manager of a restaurant if she couldn’t consider, having manners in consideration for her customers, that’s what pays her is us Well for this inconvenient and what I had to go through I think I will stop going to cheesecake factory after 10 years going there once a week my time is up the board of health should go in there and check out what’s going on because for what was happening on my food a lot of bacteria could happen on that food given back to me to make me sick for the inconvenience sitting there for a long time my wife finish her food before I even got my food back when the place wasn’t even busy. All I got was an apology. Anyways I ordered a cheesecake cause the manager asked me. Is there anything else I could do for you usually when a manager ask you for that They will come to you with the cheesecake she didn’t and when I came to her to talk to her about the cheesecake, not being comped she goes. I already copped her food that doesn’t matter. It was just like if I didn’t order the food why what I wanna eat the food after sitting there and I don’t have time for you to remake the food. I own my own business for companies and I would never ever do that to my customers. I would do everything that’s right in my power to make sure my customers were taken care of. She didn’t do that thank you Shelly for your lack of management. You will not see me at your business anymore. I will let all my friends and family know how you guys take care of your customers thank you very much and hopefully someone else doesn’t have the same experience I did You lost my business. Lost my money 10 years once a week I’ve been going there that’s...
