It's not like my visit was bad, but it also wasn't that great. I'm sure I'll be back due to the value, which I can say I felt like I got my money's worth as the buffet price was very reasonable, and it includes drinks which was surprising. They don't have a lot of options, but it appears that they try to focus more on quality then quantity, which I appreciate. And the food was tasty for the most part, can't like everything. What I didn't like was none of the food was hot, everything was warm, not cold. Beyond the food safety of not keeping food at proper holding temps, warm food doesn't taste as good, and it obviously gets cold fast, so take less and do it more often. The main issue I had was the cutting station. You think I was asking for too much when I wanted a nice chunk of beef. Don't offer items if you don't want us to eat them! They cut like maybe.5 oz portion and if you ask for more, they cut even smaller pieces. I don't know if the carver gets paid extra to not let us eat the beef, but you would think he did the way he was beyond stingy about giving you some. Very annoying and not good service. I went there just to eat some beef, as I usually mostly eat vegetarian and will do beef once in awhile, so when I do I want to make the most of it. The service was very good. She was attentive and super friendly, which was refreshing. So, if you want beef, good luck lol. And maybe keep...
Read moreSo I went in here and was surprised by all the foods that I forgot about from my childhood. Jello, baby corn, turkey stew, cornbread. They have a stark contrast against Pizza Pie Cafe, and the waiter was real soft spoken but super impressive, mostly I guess this was some Spanish-speaking team establishment. I guess Rama means ward. Chuck has to do with meat, I don't know. Hate learning Spanish, love the food though made by people that speak it well. By the way, I was nearly ridiculed for bringing a used plate to the ham station that a guy was supposed to serve customers at, almost offensive, but weird he probably got fired by the guy correcting me. Yeah, I'm not a germaphobe. I eat raw meat sometimes. The waitresses were cool too, but really I think you can safely say this location, today, had a very broad variety of dishes. Didn't try much desert, since I was famished going in, but I would give five stars for their seafood station- very very good aftertaste there. Anyway, I Think people laugh at this review, but I can see why some people would complain of the food being bland, that's because the desert is very rich- I didn't eat much of it except the jello because I only eat buffets once a week, this time I must have had six plates or so. Worth the 4-5 dollars against Pizza Pie, because of the seafood, 4 stars because the staff looked depressed by...

The food was bland, lacking in flavor that I thought wasn't possible. For instance, the spaghetti was really acidic and even tasted chemical, like the pan hadn't been rinsed properly after being washed. The meats didn't taste like the supposed meats they were, the roast beef especially was tough and tasted underdone. All the pasta was overcooked and under seasoned. The fried chicken suffered the same lack of seasoning.
Their desserts were odd in the way they lacked sweetness. Their meringue tasted neither like egg whites, nor like sugar, which is baffling. The apples in the apple pie were flavorless voids, the bread pudding was a slightly sweet mush, even their cookies tasted low quality.
The foods that were okay were the salad (which is incredibly hard to mess up in my opinion), their scones and other rolls, and their french fries. Which, in my opinion, these foods are hard to mess up. There are other foods I personally think aren't hard to mess up, too, that they made incredibly low quality.
I will say, it seems I get what I paid for. They are cheap and you can get a lot of food with a healthy variety. If you honestly don't care about taste, this...
