I drive to the Muskegon Farmers market on Saturdays for Kaufman's produce. They are certified organic and actually grow the stuff they sell., Their produce is usually in better shape than the others, many who appear to simply buying from wholesalers, not growing themselves, and certainly not organic. Kaufman's prices are quite competitive with the others, yet certified organic! While at the market I occasionally wander over to laughing tree bakery for bread and scones made from organic flour. They could use less sugar on the scones, they are too Cookie like with all the sugar. Would also be nice if they would buy a gas oven to get their crusts under control 😊 the crusts are a bit tuff due to their brick oven, which I think they fire with wood. But still best in area, gotta go to whole...

I Absolutely LOVE our Farmers' Market in Muskegon!! I have been going to the Market since I was a little girl with my Mother.. She wasn't really that interested in canning or "putting things by" for the winter by the time I came along (I was the youngest of five children and I think my Father's job was paying enough at the time that she didn't have to), but EVERY YEAR, she would get together with one of her good friends from Calvary Baptist Church, Mrs. John Sheets... The two of them would get together and make "Chili Sauce"! The whole house smelled SOOOO GOOD!!! My Mother used to remember laughing, that when I was little, I would beg her to take me to the place where she bought all the stuff she didn't need!! (To...

Such a variety of home grown fruits and veggies, along with some craft items and home made goodies. Tuesday visits are much more low-key, only a few vendors on site, but still enough of a variety to make it worth your visit. Lots of very friendly people, room to browse and shop for bargains. Saturday market is on steroids….In a good way! So much activity on Saturdays, lots of vendors, lots of people. Saturday at the market is an event in itself! The downside right now, is that there is road construction all around so be patient and if you can come in from the West you should easily be able to access the parking lot without much problem. Patience is the keyword for the next few weeks...

Went here on a gloomy Saturday, which also happened to be the same day as a Harley Davidson motorcycle festival across the street. The fire station next door also had their doors open to the community. There were lots of people and lots of vendors. We definitely picked one of the best days to go as the weather wasn’t too warm. This market has a nice variety of vendors and food trucks, everything from art, jewelry, baked goods, local meats, and vegetables.

In addition to fruits and vegetables, vendors also provide flowers, cheese, baked goods, popcorn, apparel, pet accessories and treats, bath products, honey, wine, coffee, fresh meat, art and more. Shoppers can expect fresh rhubarb and asparagus to be on hand at the market during May. A guide to fresh produce availability is on their website. Farmers here are happy to suggest ways to prepare a food you’ve never tried before.

Love this place, always something different, wonderful produce, baked goods and flowers, have bought beautiful jewelry here in the past but was disappointed this time, bracelet broke after only a few days. Wish I had gotten her name and contact info
