Portal Sculpture — Attraction in Muskegon

Eclipses the otherwise pretty shoreline, marina, and inn. I’m still unclear on what this is supposed to represent after reading the rambling informational sign. Apparently it is either a giant piston ring, the sun, unity, strength, or love, they couldn’t decide. This stupid circle rusted in the first year of its conception, honestly wouldnt be suprised if this thing was some kind of corporate tax writeoff with how little it has to say as an artpiece, and how little thought was put into its longevity.
