They may not have everything you're looking for(after all, it is a bargain discount store)but they do have a H U G E selection of all sorts of items from books of just about EVERY TYPE imaginable for EVERY AGE(several varieties of Bibles, color/puzzle/activity books, scholastic books(dictionaries, thesauruses/thesauri~whichever you prefer, curriculum grade books, etc.), cooking, DIY projects(gardening, indoor/outdoor renovation/decor, quilting/sewing, etc.), self-help/inspirational, and so many others). They have bath/bathroom products like shampoos/conditioners and soaps, razors, creams&lotions, rugs, scales, shower curtains/rods&rings,etc., to other rooms in the house. They have food, carpets/room rugs, wall decor, shelving, storage bins for everything from bedding, clothing, food, hair/jewelry/make-up, etc. accessories to sewing needle/thread, etc., toys and more of multiple sizes, shapes, colors, and materials that make up the storage bins such as plastic, wood, metal, cardboard, etc.. They have a variety of lamps/lamp shades, just too much to mention! I'll go in looking for one or two things and come out an hour or so later with a cart full and it might come to $45 at most when normally it'd be well over $300-$400 in other stores for the same things! I haven't noticed any real defects on anything I've purchased even though I know there's a reason it's a bargain discount store. I Love Love LOVE the prices!! This is my 'go to' store if I need anything in a pinch! But of course, knowing me, 'in a pinch' ends up taking me hours when it should be an 'in and out' type of errand, lol! That's not a bad thing for Ollie's though! At least not when I'm...
Read moreEmployes are there because customers like me/others are there. To be friendly and helpful aids in the bargain process. Ollie's Bargain outlet needs a better customer and consideration/respect treatment. The shopping public is able to go anywhere, but is drawn by bargains as well as by a feeling as welcomed. Morality must be awful low for the actions of staff members in how they conduct themselves. Let my evaluation of this posting know when you recycle or change attitude behaviors amongst present unwelcomed conditions. A purchase brought back because of a missing part was replaced on a shelf for resales while we were standing there. When shopping at Ollie:s again, and yes we will, but with limited frequency. I will open the box before committing to a purchase. Eliminating a potential & frustrating return, and semi bitter cashier. Thank you in advance for this opportunity of voiceing my opinion and concern. ...
Read moreI was not impressed with this place after hearing many great things about it. They have holiday things such as food, candy, and storage baggies that are all priced over what you could buy them on the shelf at meijer during the actual holiday season. Items were just thrown on shelves and not actually "faced" I wasnt able to go down many aisles due to back stock carts taking up the entire aisle way, with no workers stocking. Other than the cashiers the only other 2 workers I saw was one complaining to another that an aisle looked bad and that the person that stocked the aisle needed to be fired. I also shopped here on a hot summer day and when I got to the check out, I realized they didnt have refrigerated single beverages. There was one soda vending machine that only took cash, what a bummer. I probably wont be making...
