Mustang Recreation Center — Attraction in Mustang

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had at a rec center. We walk in the two younger people at the front are super sweet the lady calling herself the manager is extremely disrespectful and hateful I had to remind her she picked this job and she needs to work on her customer service skills. I wanted to pay for my group of people she kept asking if we were all together I told her multiple times yes them proceeds to ask one of the parties in my group if he lives with us which I dont under how it's relevant to me paying for the group. I have a 4 and 6 year old and they refused to to lower the goal twice stating its "too busy" which again I dont understand the relevance when we paid to get in so my kids can play basketball not to mention at one point there was a whole court with no one in it. The wellness center is conveniently located close to my house and I visit several times a week. The equipment and bathrooms have been kept fairly clean every time I have used them. The atmosphere tends to be relaxed and I haven't ever felt in any way judged for wanting to better myself physically. The staff have also always been amiable and they offer a variety of classes every month for those who wish to attend. The main complaints I have are that the facility's showers have very low nozzles that let out an unsteady stream of water at seemingly random temperatures and that they are frequently out of the sanitary wipes used to clean the equipment...

I have been a member of the Mustang Community Center for several years. I take my 88 yr old Mother there once a week to walk the track. We both love it. If you are a senior (60 yrs old or older) you can get a basic membership for $10 (it may have gone up this year). They have all kinds of exercise classes, activities for kids and seniors. Some things are free and some a have a low fee. A VA rep is there 3 or 4 Mondays every month to help Vets. The have large outdoor swimming pool, outdoor trails, exercise equipment, pool tables, foosball, ping pong table, kids classes, a library and much more. Just gotta see...
