I am from Wilmington, NC and currently live in Reno, NV and consider myself fairly knowledgeable concerning jewelry and after visiting numerous shops in the both areas I chose Jacob the Jeweler here in Myrtle Beach for creating my fiancé’s custom engagement ring. Even once I was back on the west coast, Paul stayed in constant communication with finalizing the ring design and updating me where they were in the process. I had a ring custom-made for me two years ago unfortunately ;I dropped it in some soil and tried to clean it myself with a chemical which tarnished the entire finish of my ring I took it to Jake the jewelers in the Market Common and told them what I had done His assistant told me they would do their best on it with no guarantees because of the damage I had done with the chemicals There best exceeded all my expectations not only did they remove the tarnish on the sides of the ring they polished it so the luster returned and it looks brand new The other surprise was when they handed me the invoice. It was more than reasonable to the point I asked them if it was correct. They assured me it was correct and hoped I was happy with their results I was more than happy I was ecstatic. I was in the area and I have been looking for a necklace for a while. I have been to a few places back home in some of the big jewelry stores that where over priced and not the quality I was looking for. I was looking to see what jewelry store where in the area and saw Jacob the Jeweler had quite a few 5 star reviews on google and they responded back on the the reviews customers wrote. I went into the store with a idea of what I was looking for and Paul was there the guide me with his expertise. He took the time and found me the necklace I ended up getting.
