Nate's Laundry — Attraction in Napa

Laundromat is clean. The new owner remodeled with all new washer and dryers. They have large washers where you can just throw all your clothes in one wash and then they have super large dryers!

I can take 6 loads - and be done in one hr and 30 min

Now I want to respond to a previous comment about the owner. Nate went out of his way and talked to me for about 1 hr to solve a issue. I had money stolen - I dropped 20.$ and someone picked it up and kept it. I called the number on the wall- Nate picked up right away! The owner even took the time to review all video cameras to see if he could find the person that stole my money! Nate offered to help reimburse me but I declined the offer - it wasn’t the owners fault my money got stolen!

This is the best laundromat from Napa - St Helena - The washers are up to date and it’s fast and very roomy - I have never had to wait for a washer -FREE WiFi - My only complaint is NO RESTROOM! The homeless have ruined this for the customers- Nate has to keep the restrooms locked! But the pizza place next door is very cool about using there...

I am super impressed. I travel often and have never used a laundry service except on a cruise ship. It's either a hotel washing machine or I am forced to wear 2 day old clothing ( I a guy so it's ok). On this trip to NAPA, I ran put of clothing faster then normal due to lots of hiking etc... The hotel I was staying in had no laundry service or machines. I checked on Google for wash and fold services. The first and closest place I called never answered the phone. I went to the ne t listing which was Nates. They answered right away and I dropped my clothing off (15 pounds) on a Tuesday. They told me it $3 a pound on Tuesday but $2 for the next day. I'm not broke but I just told them Wednesday was OK. When I received the bag of clothing and brought it bqck to my hotel room, I was surprised to see how neatly folded everything was. It smelled super clean and fresh and I couldn't have been happier. Now. I normally wouldn't think I would review a laundromat but in this case, I did as they deserve the business. Wow! I've used Nate's for several years and have found them to be reliable but yesterday they broke this customer's trust. I dropped off a duvet cover and two shams to be cleaned. The fee posted was $33.00 and the woman who took the items, reiterated the cost to me when I asked her. And yet, when I picked them up, the same woman told me the fee was $45.00 -- and that she had made a mistake. The owner insisted she figure out a way to get the additional money or she would need to pay it out of her own pocket. Nor, had the posted price changed -- it was still $33.00. This is wrong on so many levels that I can't recommend Nate's under any circumstances. They had my number and could have called me, before cleaning the items, but they didn't. I paid the difference but they've lost me as a customer over a breach of ethics, trust, and $12.00. Wonder if it...
