This market basket for the most part is fairly decent across all departments. the cashiers are quick but not friendly like a lot of stores.

Certainly not as welcoming as they are at the other Market basket location near Target or the Market Basket location in Tewksbury. When the female cashiers aren't busy flirting with the bag boys they do a great job of scanning your groceries fast and efficiently.

The bakery is pretty top notch. I love their raisin bran muffins and their Italian cookies they sell, not to mention their Italian deserts. Their deli however is another level to be desired. Depending on who is working in their deli - get ready for a slice of street attitude to be served to you on a silver platter.

The wait times for anything in their cooked section of the deli unless you're getting a subs is off the charts. Twice now I have waited a hour and then half a hour just for six chicken tenders, while I watched them make multiples of subs for more than a dozen customers. I wasn't alone either.

The first time I just gave up and drove to the second market Basket and had them in five minutes of arriving despite them also having a crowd. This time around I waited to see if I'd eventually get some. I had to ask someone in their pizza second to help me and she handed it off to another person who then was stopped by a person in the deli from helping me.

That deli person then spoke loudly at me so the other customers could hear and made snide comments at me while she scooped up six tenders. I did the adult thing and ignored her comments and walked away.

Do yourselves a favor and go to the other Market basket. At least if you need something from the Market's kitchen. Anything else from this store will be just fine. It's the deli that's poison. At least that is if you're getting anything fried and you have a hour to wait. Not all of us...

I would like to start by saying I love Market basket.... I went to the Amherst St Nashua NH store over the weekend and I will never go back to this store again.... While I was in line paying for order in the 12 items of less line (I had 4 items) a store supervisor came over and proceeded to back my items. while placing my items for me in the cart he noticed I had another bag of chicken on the top of my cart... He very rudely asked me if I was going to pay for it.. I explained to him that I had paid for it when I first came in as I was with my two sons and had come to this store to take their grand parents food shopping... I also explained to him we had eaten our food in the café area.. he then said to me that he wanted to make sure... Mind you this whole interaction happen while I was still paying for my items and instead of pulling me to the side to ask me questions or accuse me of stealing he decided to embarrass me in front of other customers and the cashier... I was humiliated, disrespected and angry for being accused of stealing chicken wings.... I couldn't believe that someone like that works with people daily... I was so upset I didn't get his name and I...

My boyfriend and I went shopping here today 3/9/24. On top of having a bagger crush out burger buns, and put a bag on top of another package of buns, and a punctured yogurt. We came home to undercooked burgers. I’ve gotten them here before without issue but this time one was completely pink in the middle and the other was pink around the edges; edible but not cooked well. When my boyfriend called, not wanting a refund or another burger but to make sure they were aware of the issue, he was told that they didn’t believe him and MAYBE they’d make him another burger. Most of the people who work here are kind, but this person was rude for no reason. I’m finally sick of having all my groceries thrown around aimlessly in the bags and having crushed goods. I even pre-sort the groceries to make it easier for them. Train your workers to do better. They’re teens and it’s their first job, so they do need to be told how to bag. I don’t blame them, I blame the management who seemingly doesn’t train them.

Me and my boyfriend went in on Saturday to order a cake for Sunday (which we knew was super short notice) and the bakery informed us that we would only be able to get a basic cake done with nothing too cute or fancy as they don’t have a decorated in on Sundays and she told us they were super short staffed and she already seemed so overwhelmed and we said it’s okay we understand (our fault for waiting so long) and went on our way. We were about to check out and she came up to us and told us she would make our daughter the tiered unicorn cake for her right now. We waited for her and she whipped up the cake for us and it came out beautiful! It was the nicest thing, she didn’t need to do that for us but she took the time to when she probably didn’t even have the time! It was just so sweet and it made the party so special. I think her name was Michelle and I just think she deserves the biggest praise! It was such a selfless act from her and it made our day so special. So thank you to her!

Decided to give MB another try on my 1130 lunch break. Disappointed again I'll have to go back to Hannaford or subway. I ordered a steak and cheese and it took over 30 min to get it. The staff that is on the difficult items are not trained and the staff that are, are not training the others. they are just barking at them. I really miss the old days when it ran like clock work and it was a fast in and out. Applebee's to go is now faster than getting a sub at this market basket. The guy who is came in at noon or just before with the tattoo on his arm was the only one trained and not yelling at other workers. He has been there for awhile and is still amazing. He should be the one training others. Side note had traces of onions mixed in my steak and cheese. Can't eat the sub due to the onions aggravating my Crohn's disease.
